Great view and beers, but food and service was not memorable. Our tour operator dropped us off here, not pleased as but at no fault of this place, more of lack of communication with the tour operator. I'm sure they have an agreement and maybe it's a safe choice and offers options for those who want beach and/pool time (as they have a small pool) as well as parking for their vehicles. This review is for the outdoor portion of the resort only as I have never been a guest here. Las Flores welcomes cruise ship passengers so if you're only stopping for the day, head here. You can sit on the private beach, enjoy the swimming pool and eat at the beachfront restaurant. Steps away are lots of local vendors rent out jet skis, parasails, kayaks and more, so I love to come here with my husband. I sit on the outdoor terrace and sip margaritas while he has fun out on the ocean. I'm not outdoorsy so the margaritas and guacamole are more my speed! The food and drink prices are cheap and (knock on wood) I've never picked up a stomach bug on my 4 visits here. When he's done with his fun in the sun, we just hang out on the beach, drink and relax. It's great! Pretty much everything you need is right here: bar service, decent food, a nice beach, water sports, clean bathrooms, and local vendors hawking everything from cigars to silver jewelry. It's easy to catch a taxi right out front too. This is a great day stop and one of the best kept secrets in Mazatlan. read more

Absolutely disgusting. Almost threw up after one bite of the supposed "marlin" tacos. Even a cheese quesadilla was disgusting. The chips were also super stale what a joke. read more

Location is nice right on the beach. Service was mediocre but not the worst I've ever had. The food was hands down the worst food that I have ever paid money for. We had 6 different dishes and no one at the table ate more than a few bites. Our tour bus driver aggressively promoted this place and it was clear they were paying him a commission for bringing us in. Avoid. read more

Do not come here if vacationing in Mazatlan or coming off a cruise ship!!! We ordered the most expensive item on the menus which was supposed to includ 11 pieces of lobster. When our food arrived...no lobster!! Just a bunch of breaded fish patties!! When I asked the waiter where the lobster was, he just very matter-of-factory said that they don't have any lobster. Don't you think they'd tell us that before we ordered it? Not only that...the peso exchange rate is apparently higher at the hotel and then Instead if paying $45..they charged us $70. We asked for at least a discount for not receiving any lobster but this rip-off hotel only discounted the bill 10%. After charging us 50% more for the bill then they were supposed to.... that really didn't cut it! We were forced to pay since all the bus tours and van tours take you there and we had to hop back on our tour bus. If you have to...go there and enjoy the nice beach and scenery but I don't recommend eating there!!! read more

Old guac. Undercooked ceviche. Should be cured in lime juice but they did not cure it well. I left the entire thing and the guy did not care and did not ask. Everyone else's food was barely adequate. It has 2.5 stars for a reason. It's less than OK. The beach is nice....our guide took us there so I assume they pay him well to drop off tourists. I told our guide the food sucked...he told the waiter....and I paid the American prices for lousy food. read more

Best beach location but it stops there. Rooms very outdated, WiFi is terrible, elevators are slow at best, furniture and beds are hard and uncomfortable, no DVD players except for certain rooms, terrible TV cable service. Stove does not work, drains slow. I'll come back to the area just won't ever stay here again. read more
