It's a nice option from the typical well known Mexican beers that are mainly lagers. I tried a sampler of 8 beers. The waiter asked me my preference in terms of hoppiness, then chose a selection of beers that included IPAs, pale ales, a hellesbock and stouts. All were very good to excellent. I noticed there was also a Mexican tripel that was not included on the sampler. It was the only bad beer I had, lacking any of the nice yeast flavor so typical of Belgian tripels. I happened to sit next to an American businessman who loves Belgian beers. He ordered me a Delirium Tremens, which is an excellent tripel that was much better then the Mexican-brewed tripel. I highly recommend Fiebre de Malta for a good exposure to some excellent Mexican craft beers.

The natural was much better and quite unique. While the flavor is hard to describe, it has a thick consistency and a slightly sour smell. The taste is rather enjoyable with a little bit of acidity. While I am not sure that I wouldn't have preferred a beer, I am glad that I tried it. All in all would recommend this bar.
