On our honeymoon in Tenerife we booked a table for Rincón de Juan Carlos and were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is tucked away in a plaza and when you enter, the carefully crafted experience begins with gorgeous lighting and service with a family feel. Now for what we came for, the food. We chose the tasting menu with a selection of 6 glasses of wine. The menu opened with a brioche with caviar packaged as a gift. Who doesn't love a present to start a meal? Our favorite dishes were the raviolis and corn taco. The dessert was the encore, a full tree structure with various fruits, spun sugar, and the presentation of a lifetime. We were so impressed with how every glass of wine paired across the selected dishes. Simply a fantastic gastronomical experience. Final note: this is a Michelin starred restaurant and the prices are on par with that. We were shocked to watch an older couple with a reservation sit down, look over the menu, and choose to leave because "nothing really looked good" and it was "a bit expensive." We would gladly pay again for such an experience. Thank you for being an outstanding introduction to Michelin Star dining.

We were starving for breakfast and hung over from the night before, jet lagged and exhausted. So we saw this place and realized it has a gorgeous view of Grand Canaria Island our the front window. It's a simple and amazing place with homemade food. They serve great breakfast burritos and their coffee is excellent. The staff were all very nice. We really enjoyed our time here and the food. Definitely remedied our hangover with their juices they make fresh as well!! If you're ever in the Canary Island of Tenerife, tent yourself a car or a taxi ride and get to this place then walk around the town.

They mostly have British dishes, like beans on toast or breakfast burritos, etc. I tried the breakfast burrito with meat in it and it was absolutely delicious! The other time when we went out for lunch, I was incredibly hungry and the chili something (I forgot the complete name) saved me. The ingredients are fresh and they prepare everything fresh and with love. It was a pleasure to be a guest in this restaurant and I would definitely recommend it!
