The worst veterinary clinic I have ever experienced. My beloved cat is gone, and I will never forget what happened here.
I brought my cat to this clinic with a fever of almost 40°C. She was hospitalized for three days. Every day they called me and told me: "Everything is fine, we are treating her, giving her antibiotics, and she is under observation." They even asked me what food she liked. I trusted them.
When I came to pick her up, they spent an entire hour looking for her. They didn't even know where she was or seem to know which cat was mine. Finally, they brought her to me in the same carrier I had brought her in -- completely wet, covered in urine and saliva. They didn't even take her out of the carrier.
After three days of supposed hospitalization, she had lost approximately 800 grams. She was extremely weak, severely dehydrated and could barely drink. The next day I took her to another veterinary clinic. The veterinarian was shocked when he saw her condition. Her blood tests were critical: her white blood cell count was only 600 instead of around 6,000.
The veterinarian told me that an animal hospitalized for three days should never be allowed to reach such a severe state if it is actually receiving proper treatment and care. I am convinced that my cat was not given IV fluids at all. The veterinarian told me that her extreme dehydration strongly indicated that she had not received the necessary fluid therapy or nutrition and had essentially not been properly treated.
There is another shocking detail: the discharge report states that my animal was male ("gato"), even though she was female ("gata"). How can a veterinary clinic keep an animal hospitalized for three days and not even get her sex right? Who actually examined my cat?
The most painful part is that my cat is gone. If they had told me the truth from the beginning, if they had called me and said that she needed urgent tests or different treatment, I would have done absolutely everything possible to save her. Instead, for three days I was told that "everything was fine."
When she arrived at the other clinic, there was already no chance of saving her. I had to make the most painful decision of my life and euthanize my beloved cat to end her suffering.
My child also suffered enormous psychological trauma from seeing her in such a terrible condition.
they leave my cat in a carrier, covered in urine, without proper nutrition, fluids or treatment, while she was suffering and dying?
I believe that this kind of treatment should be investigated and held accountable.
My cat was a member of my family. She is gone, and nothing can bring her back. I will never forget what happened to her.
I would never recommend this clinic to anyone who truly loves their animal. If you care about your pet, think very carefully before trusting this place with their life.
