Yesterday I had PRK surgery at Lasik MD Moncton with Dr. Cormier. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgable, such a fun group of people to work with! Normally I'm the one prepping the patients for surgery, then watching them go through the whole process. But today it was my turn and I would 100% do it again!! I had the chance to go threw my pre-operative exam with Tyler Shediac ( OT). It was a wonderful learning experience about my eyes. I was deemed a candidate, and was now excited to have surgery. There was definitely some nervousness going on the day of surgery, but having the opportunity to work for the clinic put a lot of my thoughts at ease. I was brought in to the OR by Madeleine ( Surgical Assistant ) and she did a wonderful job making sure I was ok and comfortable. Dr.Boudreault is out of this world kind, and understanding. Very comfortable to be around. Before I knew it, my surgery was over. I was prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatory and some nature tears. I was to follow a drop schedule and a activity schedule which I was very serious about and did everything I was told. Taking the prescribed eye drops, and following the drop schedule is very easy and not complicated at all. The next morning I presented myself for my 24 hour appointment. It went perfectly, and my eyes are recovering nicely. I will be doing my one week appointment very soon, Can't wait to find out my results. read more

After hearing good things from friends in regards to laser eye surgery from Lasik MD here in Moncton I decided to book my free consult and see what it was all about. The assessment was extremely easy to book online with lots of dates/times available. As soon as I walked in the door the team was very inviting and friendly. Any question/concerns I had were answered on that day by the staff and I left feeling 100% comfortable with making the decision to go ahead with the procedure. On the day of the surgery, I admit I was nervous. Again any question I had was answered by the staff and surgeon and any nervousness I had disappeared. The surgery itself was extremely quick, easy and 100% pain free. As for recovery, my eyes were a bit dry for a couple days after but the drops prescribed helped with that and after a couple days this went away. It has now been a few weeks since my surgery and my sight is amazing, driving at night is actually enjoyable now that I can see without using contacts/lenses which caused a lot of halos. I would recommend this to anyone and is by far the best money I have ever spent! read more
