The animals there are very well looked after and it is a long away from us but it is such a lovely place to go and look round and they have a park for the kids and shops and cafe.They even have lots of other animals, horses, rabbits, goats etc. We will go again if we are passing again .

my boyfriend and i come here regularly. you pay £2 and you get to walk round and interact with the…read morewell socialised dogs they have at battersea. they are oh so adorable. it's probably 90% staffies. it is SO TOUGH walking in there and not walking out with a dog, but i like seeing how well looked after they are (and the volunteers are very passionate about the dogs in their care) and by donating money each time we go, we're helping out the centre too. they also have a cattery which was opened only last year. it's very swish and the cats are of course AMAZING but the last three times we've been it has been closed for various reasons. it's also VERY DIFFICULT going to visit the cats and not returning home with one. i've fallen in love every single time i visit!

They were brilliant on the phone, we took him in and staff were fantastic couldn't fault them they looked him over and fed him straight away rest assured my little buddy would be well looked after. The RSPCA centre…read moreat Leybourne totally changed my impression of animal shelters as it is so bright, with incredibly welcoming staff who lavish great love and care on all of the creatures that pass through their door. We have rescued two cats from this centre and found them to have been a fantastic match for our family. The staff here have fantastic intuition for finding your new family member. Whilst it is sad that there are so many loveable creatures in need of a forever home it's great to see firsthand the work that the RSPCA are doing in the knowledge that these animals will eventually go to the best homes for their needs. I could (and have) spent hours here making friends with the residents!

Raystede is an amazing place that is primarily a rehoming centre for stray pets. They rescue,…read morerehome and look after more than 2000 pets each year! As well as this, the centre is open to the public. It's free of charge, but they do ask for donations to help look after the animals. As well as visiting the cats and dogs, they have huge averies with many tropical birds, beautiful lakes with friendly ducks, geese, coots and moorhens. Stables with horses and donkeys. Rabbits, goats, turkeys, chickens, alpacas...and many more. There are some lovely walks around the lakes, a shop and a cafe to visit, as well as the visitor centre. Raystede is a great place to come with all the family. And if you are looking for a new pet, come and see if there is a fluffy friend here for you!

There is a danger that you come away with an adopted cat, dog, rabbit, guinea pig and maybe even a goat!! However, you can't take home a pony or horse!! The staff here are obviously dedicated, caring loving and thoroughly enjoy their work!!! , dare I say WORK! A just wonderful place to be.....go there and do it!!

This Rescue doesn't cherry pick the cutest or youngest dogs to help - they step up to help those who are on death row or exisiting in appalling conditions. The premises are clean and basic and the dogs are well fed and given the chance of life. Please consider helping with either walking these lovely homeless dogs or helping with a small donation. Without donations this Rescue would not be able to continue.
