    The bogus warranty....

    Very helpful in my decision making and right through to the final sale. Delivery was prompt and good.. HOWEVER I have changed my review to a one. I need everyone to know about their scam of a warranty. I was told that my faux leather couch that I bought 2 years ago was under full warranty for 5 years. It is a very clear one that supposedly covers everything from personal damage, to rips and burns. A few weeks ago we noticed a tear in the material and contacted the store. They explained that as it was faux leather, it was not covered. They ran around me for two to three weeks, managers hiding from me and not returning calls to the fact that the warranty as seen below includes faux leather. I finally tracked down someone at head office and after 7 hours of waiting on hold over three days, Spoke to someone there. I emailed copies of my warranty, bill and pictures of the tears. They told me they were cracking, not ripping and cracking is not covered. You can spill paint on it, they will cover it, (supposedly), your kid can even stain it with urine and it is (supposedly covered... See picture) but if there is a manufacturing issue with material quality then you are totally Sol. I am so angry and am on a quest to ensure that other people are not getting lied to, ripped off and basically sucker punched. I have read stories of others in the same predicament and find it completely disgusting how a consumer can be treated. They are wonderful until they get your money. Then turn on you. We should give then a boycott and see how things turn for these partially corrupt businesses. I tell everyone I know, on social media and on the street about this and to go elsewhere. I'm even writing to cbc marketplace. Sorry for the rant but I don't want to see anyone else in my position. Edit. They sent me a reply to make themselves look caring and good. I have replied to it and it's been a week now and no reply from them. What shady scumbags!

    Purchased a couch and loveseat from them. When in the show room we chosen what we liked after we sat in it was nice and firm. Delivery was great until we unpacked. We sat down feeling the springs under our buts. Nowhere like the showroom couch. I fear returning.

    I purchased a sectional on Jan 30th 2016 and as of March, the leather is literally peeking away. Head office allowed an exchange, however when finalizing the store attempted to doctor my contract and tell me I paid much less for my couch. I have proof of all payments and Invoices with the PROPER amounts on them. I honeslty am done with the entire negative situation and just want to return my couch for a refund. Sales manager also told me this newly selected couch would last much longer (once I paid the $300 additional) as IT was made in Canada, unlike the cheap China import I previously owned that i bought Jan 30. Website states everything is Canada made.... but imported cheaply from China. $2k on a couch... and no answers. Filed Consumer act of canada report, BBB report and also will be filing with the courts to recoup my money on the couch, warranty and delivery fee... and additional punitive damages.

During delivery they broke it. The delivery guys did not unwrap it because they said it had come apart and it would be dangerous. The delivery guys were very late almost 8 pm. They did not remove the plastic to investigate they were only interested in getting home after starting at 7 am that morning. I had no way of lowering the unit until my son came over 3 days later. We removed the plastic wrap and found three out of the four screws had been ripped out of the washer damaging the washer and making it impossible to lower. There was no manual for the stacking kit explaining how to detach It is still sitting in my living room. The Brick has said that it is past the 24 hour mark from delivery and has done nothing to help me They have my phone number and they have not called. They said it was a warranty issue when clearly it isn't. Unfortunately I did not use visa. I used their card to get a 4 % rebate to use on future purchases. DO NOT USE THEIR CREDIT if you do find something you really like. It comes with no protection. They responded saying to email them. It looks nice but it does not take you anywhere. If you have any integrity you can call me. You know the number.

It was sitting in front of my ovens and I asked if they were coming back to move it and put in the space. They said no that it moved easy on wheels and let I am a handicapped 76 year old and my friend is 82. This was Tuesday and they wouldn't send anyone and told me I would have to wait till Thursday. I had all my groceries in bags and my frozen would be gone by thursday. I had to hire someone to do it and then it didn't fir which the salesman said it would so I had to take out one of my cabinets. This cot me $300 and the loss of a cabinet and a great deal of stress and hardship. It is the m worst service I ever had. I wouldn't recommend CAS to anybody.
