We all ordered a tamale and watched them make the Sugar cane juice which is amazing to watch! The tamales are the best in Florida so we had to order 3 dozen to take back to NJ with us! YES u can travel with them they gave me no issue at the airport! They have fresh fruit and Vegatables all around for purchase and parking out front ! I wish they shipped because I would order every week their tamales are the best in Florida ! A must try

$2 guarapo that is simply delicious. They don't fill up your cup with ice here - you ask for guarapo, you get guarapo. Fresh and authentic and delish. This place is as Cuban-Miami as it gets. Besides guarapo, they sell Cuban cafecito and I believe sandwiches too. It's also a little (tiny) market, so you can pick up some groceries while you're here too. $2 guarapo, dale!

If Mima(grandmother) is not making them, then you must come here ! Want authentic Cuban tamale this is the place to get them! I've tried many in Miami nothing like this place. The place is not fancy, and many people probably would not get stuff here. But they do carry the best tamales in Miami! The people are super friendly and nice! read more

BEST CUBAN TAMALES ANYWHERE. You can come here to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables, have an amazingly delicious pastelito and guarapo (major sugar rush) but never leave without taking home a pack of their homemade tamales! The sentimental value this Market holds for me is unmatched. I have visited since I was a kid with my dad and he would come here with his dad as a kid. The same friendly people have been working here for decades and the delicious tamales remain unchanged. Truthfully, I have never really enjoyed a tamal outside of this market. Their tamales are just so good. Never dry, always flavorful. They are a cash only business, but you can NOT beat their prices. Don't let their appearance stop you from coming in. read more

This place is my favorite tamale place. They use ham instead of meat (not tradition i know) they sell them frozen, or cooked. It's a little market place. This place is Amazing! I grew up around this place. My mom would take us almost everyday for a special treat. The best tamales and Guarapo I've ever had. There cuban bread is freshly made every 30mins. This place has been serving people for a long time. I love there friendly service and you feel part of the family. Really encourage you to try. If I could give them MORE stars, I would! This place is above and beyond, yet completely unassuming. The Cuban tamales are the absolute BEST in the continental United States. Period. They're cheap and very filling. The Cuban coffee here is exceptional, and again, the prices are very low. We did not know that they were "cash only", but they demanded that we stay and enjoy our drinks and tamales, then told us just to come back later. So much love for the market and the incredibly warm people who work here and bring it to life! read more

We found this place back in the 70's..We moved to Broward County in the early 90'and to this date, we always make time to go down there and buy their tamales and have a guarapo and pick up a Mamey to bring home when in season!.. It's amazing to find the original owners and the place standing in time.. read more

I have found the cashiers and staff to be friendly and helpful over the years. Parking is easy on the side of the store, just drive up the ramp to the second floor. The escalator is steps away from the parking lot to take you right down to the inside of the store where the carts are waiting for you. There is also street parking. Next door is Wells Fargo for your convenience. I don't live close by anymore but whenever I'm in the Edgewater area, I like to stop in. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because their prices tend to be on the high side.

I ordered the chipotle chicken bowl and added avocado, I was offered a sample of their frozen yogurt and açaí. The frozen yogurt is a sweet treat and I also ordered a frozen yogurt bowl with blueberries instead of bananas. Everything was delicious and made to order. I'd definitely return when in the area or if I happen to see another store in a different area. Definitely give them a try, service was friendly and quick and the restaurant was clean. You can also dine in if you'd like. The chipotle bowl I forgot take a picture of but the website picture is exactly what the bowl looked like.

The staff was super nice, they helped to walk me through how to order. I ordered at a kiosk...a Poké bowl with raw salmon and tuna and added mango and avocado to my order at an up charge for each. I would've been so much more happy with this meal if it actually had any avocado in it!! It's a decent size bowl, but the two sauces it comes with are in teeny tiny containers. It tasted pretty healthy, but probably not something I would order again.
