You can make your firearm look new again with these products. But is takes preparation and patience. Preparation meaning you need to get all oil off of your gun. That for me means soaking it in 92% rubbing alcohol and leaving it for several hours. Also, while not necessarily required, a light sanding of the metal finish with a 800 grit sandpaper helps with adhesion. Patience. You need to put thin coats on your gun but a minimum of 5 or 6.
