I used to love Laughing Planet but the last several months they have gone downhill. I noticed the food portions have really gotten smaller, but the prices have gone up. The food is lacking seasoning too. Counter help could use some training and realize without the customers they would not have a job. It used to be a fun place to go, and my friends and I would go a couple times a week. I hope they can get it back to the fun, happy, place they used to be cause I miss it and would love to bring my friends in again for our weekly lunch.

10/10 highly recommend every single time! We love Laughing Planet so much and are never disappointed when we visit. The guacamole is bright and fresh as if it had been prepared table side. In the past I have also enjoyed many of their burritos and wraps that have been equally exceptional as the recent Korean BBQ Bowl. Pretty much just go there, close your eyes and point to something. You won't regret it. I love the clean and inviting open atmosphere. There's alot of space for everyone including large groups. The artwork seen throughout the space is beautiful, bright and creative. As for the service from the staff, they are all so nice amazing people. We have never had a bad experience and always leave more than satisfied. I cannot wait to come back and try the small Thai burrito. It was a hard toss up to choose that or the Korean bowl, but I am very happy either way.

If you haven't been here yet...do yourself a favor and go! I had the Korean bbq beef bowl and it was memorable. So tasty! The staff are friendly and the whole restaurant is mindful of how to reuse. They are part of the green box program so you can even take your meal in a returnable container. My fiancé had the SW green chile burrito and there was nothing but a clean plate when he was done. It's fun art on the walls and bright color separate it from the rest.

Vegetatian? Awesome! ALL entrées can be made vegan simply by omitting or substituting cheese with vegan "cheese" and chicken, beef or pork with organic tofu or tempeh at no extra charge. Their chili and most of our soups are vegan as well.

Really really nice menu. Food is very fresh. We had a bit of a wait today, but the worker was kind enough to let us know that it would be 20 minutes or so. The bowls are flavored very well. I had the Thai and my partner had Korean. We got an oatmeal cookie to go for the road. It was so good. We nearly wish we had to, but it was a generous size. Definitely place to go if you like healthier options. Staff is friendly, and the place is clean.

I got a bean soup paid extra for onions And the server didn't refund me after serving me their world famous chili ..... without onions the chips were hardly dip able

Was visiting my sister in Reno who suggested we order delivery from Laughing Planet. We both prefer to eat healthy and clean so after looking over the menu, I was all about it. We started out on their website, where you can easily order online. I love this since I prefer to order online, rather than call in an order. I ordered the Bollywood bowl and a side of chips and salsa . The bowl was delicious. It was hardy, filling, full of flavor and healthy at the same time. The salsa is also good and spicy. However, my only complaint is the chips we got were mostly crushed into dime-sized chips. I don't know if it was that we got the bottom of the bag or if they got crushed in transit so that kinda sucked. I will say for the ones that weren't crushed they were a thicker corn tortilla chip so we may give it another try in the future. If your looking for healthier options but want to fill satiated then absolutely give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Next time I go I'll happily order something different from their menu again..

Having a tough protocol to follow and being restricted of so many items on the menu, laughing planet went beyond to help me customize a healthy bowl. Alegra was very helpful and patient while helping get what I needed. The place is nice, lots of seating options (indoor and outdoor). Make sure to try their beverages and giant cookies too.

I'm sad to have downgraded Laughing Planet and took a day to make sure I was not overreacting. Was looking forward to having lunch there yesterday (Saturday) and got there just a little bit after opening, 11:10 AM. I think I might have been the 3rd customer since opening that day. I was surprised at how dirty the restaurant was with food on the floors and food on the chairs. It was obvious that the restaurant had not been cleaned prior to opening. I watched a server walk past a napkin on the floor a few times and there was a poster on the floor that everyone was ignoring. It wasn't until another worker picked up the napkin. My tempeh burrito was good, no complaints, but my son's comfort bowl looked liked 3 spoonful of items were thrown in the bowl and did not look very comforting to me. Very small serving of black beans, rice, salsa, sour cream, avocado, and olives. Seems like the pride of ownership has faded a bit with this restaurant. Hopefully, owners and workers will get their mojo back soon because this place has so much to offer, healthy food wise and great vibe!

Laughing planet is hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, and your chances of this are earlier in the day... but they can get busy with a lunch rush. Evenings, well, that's usually more the miss as the food tends to be not so warm, plating is much less appealing, and certain dishes might be missing some items... but, it's usually less busy later in the day. I am a fan of the quesadillas, the burritos and the bowls. They have a lot of vegan options and you can also go with some good protein dishes as well. Tip: Ask about their rewards program, which they do not tell you about... ever, and you can earn free food.

This place is great for a nice healthy quick meal. This place definitely makes me feel better about not being able to cook on certain nights because it's still tasty and I trust the quality

The menu is no-frills in the best possible way -- they know what they are, they do it well, and they don't need a paragraph of backstory to explain why their Spam is locally sourced from a galaxy far, far away. We ordered the Loco Moco, which came with Spam...yes, Spam included, not as a novelty, but as a legitimate supporting character in an already solid lineup. It hit every note it was supposed to...rich, savory, deeply satisfying, and exactly the kind of food that makes you wonder why you ever doubted it. The Spam Musubi held its own as a snack that somehow manages to be both humble and deeply craveable. And then there was the poke bowl... shrimp, salmon, and ahi tuna. Fresh, well-portioned, and assembled like someone who actually cares about the ratio of fish to rice. Because ratios matter. The sauce selection deserves a mention because it's genuinely extensive, which is rare for a spot this stripped-down. We went with the House Special Sauce, which lands right between mild and medium enough kick to know it's there, not so much that you're reaching for a glass of water after every bite. It was the right call, and I'd make it again without hesitation. The vibe is casual cafe all the way...comfortable, unpretentious, the kind of place where you can settle in without feeling like you're supposed to Instagram your water glass. If you're in Reno and craving Hawaiian food that actually tastes like someone's been making it for years rather than a weekend workshop, Loco Ono is the move. We'll be back.

It was slightly more acidic. The curry made better for dipping. The service was quick and despite Fritzie W. changing her mind on a few items, they were still patient and courteous. The restaurant is laid back, and a few patrons eating inside appeared content enjoying their meals. We had to feed a crowd at home recently and Middle Eastern cuisine suited everyone's fancy, so naturally Aladdin's was the call. Using the online ordering system was simple, and the food was ready right on time. My only feedback is that the items don't all clearly describe what you get or how the dish comes, and so I added sauces thinking they came on the side but really came on top, and paid upcharges for things like pita, thinking they didn't come with it but then finding out they did and I just added a lot of extra. I ordered a few shawarma plates, an Aladdin combo, and hummus, falafel, and babaganoush appetizers. Everything was delicious, but some items were a bit surprising. The hummus is was a bit on the loose side, and we actually thought it was tahini from the look, aroma, and flavor. My guess is the batch was made with a bit more tahini than normal. Still good, but surprising. The Aladdin's Combo didn't look as pictured on the website, where it looks like a very sizable portion of meat, with chicken in a reddish marinade. Though the chicken looked similar to shawarma, it was clearly different in flavor, and both it and the koobideh were delicious. I ordered extra meat and had expected it to be outrageously large based on the menu photo of the standard order, but what came was more similar to the photo itself. It was still plenty to share, but I paid additional and didn't seem like I got that much more. The regular portions here are large, like easily feed two people sized. We ordered one plate per person, but in reality could've split them all. Again, I love this spot and chalk this up to learning. I think some folks could get frustrated with this experience, and I def did to an extent, but I enjoy this too much to gripe.

We were not disappointed! Here are a few things to know: - In addition to selling Mediterranean groceries, you can order at the register and there are several small tables so you can sit and eat. - I ordered the Gyro Sandwich, and my wife ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. Both were really good, and quite large...I, of course, polished my entire sandwich off and my wife took half home for later. - We've bought Greek cheeses, olives, bulghur, and spices at Aladdin's, both this time and in the past. It's the only place to find some of the things I need, and the prices are better on some things than even Amazon. - Service was really great. The person working let me wait to pay until after I had finished my grocery shopping, and she brought our food out to our table pretty quickly. Bottom line: Aladdin's is a go-to place for us...next time, we'll probably go again at a time which would let us enjoy lunch at the same time.
