This firm was in my legal plan network, MetLife legal plan. There were many obstacles that this…read morefirm had to face with us. My loan officer quitting in the middle of the loan process, Chase not informing us of certain things til the last minute, The borrower and coborrower having to live and sign in two different states. Not only were they very professional but prompt in their responses to us. They sent two notaries to our home too in two different states, emails were responded rapidly to questions we had and they had to work with many agents from multiple states to buy our condo and we were still able to close on time. I would definitely recommend them as well as using them again in the future.

We hired Georgina to represent our daughter in a child custody case. In the beginning she stated as…read moreto how she was going to approach the case and it sounded exactly like what we wanted to hear. Slam dunk, right? Then came the day to meet with her and her story completely changed and she more or less sold our daughter out. Of course this was after we paid her. The agreement she set up with the other attorney was a complete 180 of what we were expecting. It basically said that our daughter was guilty of everything. And then, hear is where it gets worse to the point where my daughter is still suffering the effects of what Georgina did! Georgina sent a court order to the judge for approval without our daughter even getting a chance to read it or approve it. And to this day this is still the court order in place making it nearly impossible for my daughter to get justice or just even to tell her side of the story. I wouldn't recommend and if I could give her 0 stars I would do it.

They need to learn how to write legal documents. During the divorce there were so many mistakes…read moresuch as neglecting to send copies of settlement offers, sending incorrect information regarding settlement offers, stating monetary figures incorrectly all over the place, listing the incorrect courthouse when writing up the final documents, my name being spelled incorrectly and in different ways throughout the final document (even within the section regarding my name change!) that was sent to the court and completely leaving out a part of the settlement that my ex husband and I agreed upon then denying that it was ever in the agreement in the first place and suggesting it was acceptable to have a large portion of a marital dissolution settlement agreed on verbally instead of in the legal document which even states we signed it with no promises made outside of what is in the document. (Because if it's not in writing there's no way to enforce it!!!) Even before I wisely decided to get my own attorney she was not available when my ex or myself attempted to contact her. I can with no doubt say this was to the detriment of my ex-husband's case because when I retained my own attorney the entire divorce changed it's tone. Now of course this is per my ex-husband, but she informed him that she would represent both of us in the divorce when we filed for uncontested. It is my understanding that there is absolutely zero way that she could give honest and beneficial advice to both of us when he came to her first and paid her because any helpful advice given to me would be against his best interests. She also did not seem to understand how to draw up a quitclaim (which I very much would have preferred to draw up myself because it would have been done in a timely manner) and demanded a copy of my deed, which I would have been happy to provide but did not have due to paperwork being removed from the home. She apparently claimed that the quitclaim simply could not be drawn up without the deed (Not true. At all. Not even a little.) My ex-husband's name was on this deed obviously and he was 100% capable of getting that himself, as was she if she had tried. Then she denied having received a copy of the warranty deed or any other communications from my attorney's office when my attorney secured a copy and sent it to her many days (when I received a screenshot of the email with the attachment it was nine days) prior. This nonsense could very well have led to my ex-husband being held in contempt of court for failing to execute the quitclaim in 10 days as per the MDA. I had to send the screenshot of the email with the warranty deed attached to my ex-husband, which I assume he presented to her, for her to begin doing anything. She was not my lawyer, she was my ex-husband's lawyer and I may be somewhat biased by the awful experience that I had dealing with both her and my ex, but that does not take away from the fact that not only was she regularly unavailable, but she denied having necessary information to draw up documents her client was required to provide and also that the legal documents she filed with the court had ridiculous mistakes that made the frustrating and painful divorce that we were going through even more so. I have communications to show everything I've stated. The craziest thing about it? She charged my ex-husband more than twice what I paid my lawyer. Find someone who won't make that difficult time worse for not just your ex, but your kids, wallet, and definitely yourself as well. SMH.
