This review is long overdue…read more Approximately 2 weeks ago, I was in need of a hair cut and have had several bad cuts in the past from other establishments. Depending on Yelp to find a new hairdresser, I made an appointment at M'Lady M'lord Hair Design and Salon. I have very fine, limp hair and require razor texturizing to obtain lift and bounce to my otherwise short hair. I was assigned to Ernie for my cut. I am very impressed. After giving my "new do" some time, I find, I am just as happy with my cut now as I was when I walked out of the Salon. Ernie took the time to listen to my hair style needs, and was more than obliging to go back and re-texturize the top of my hair to remove more weight (better to go in stages then to cut and be stuck). My worries we're soon put to rest though because what she lacks in power she makes up for in skill and technique. She knows the pressure points and will get them with her elbows and hands. She's trained in Ayurvedic massage too so you'll notice some of those techniques which are really great. One more thing she does is use hot water bottles (just like grandma used!) on areas she's massaged to keep the muscles relaxed. I really had a great massage with Sunee and won't judge her by anything except how great a massage therapist she is.
