Cristina mainly does fashion-related shoots, although she also does corporate and private shoots for individuals/groups/couples. She bases her work around the idea of "Conceptual, Surreal, Imaginative", so if you're looking for the perfect gift for a loved one, want photos of a birthday/wedding/special occasion with a twist, or simply want to get some great-quality photos to try and get you modelling, I couldn't recommend this photographer highly enough. When I worked with her, I'm not going to lie I had almost no idea what I was doing. I was by far the least-experienced person on the shoot (the other girls were actual models), but I never once felt awkward or self-conscious at any point throughout. Big bonus points from the nervous bride to have the photographer show up early. Secondly, he was SO nice and lovely that I would have happily given him a glass of bubbly and some nibbles and had him join the party. Rob took hundreds of shots and has returned over 200 beauties to us. A number of my friends have said that with their wedding photographers there was just one clear choice for THE couple shot. Not so with us, we are absolutely spoiled for choice. We went through them going "ooh that one's nice, but oooooo that one's great too, oh wait what about that one!?" And not only are the pictures stunning as they are, none of them have been digitally altered in any way, their perfection is based only on the skill of the photographer. On top of all of this, Duke were actually the least expensive of any photographers I enquired with. They provide packages for photos, but as we were just having a small shindig and only needed someone for about two hours, they happily provided me with an hourly rate. I cannot recommend these guys enough, seriously. Can I give them 10 stars? Amazing.

Delighted with my overall experience with Carrie Southerton Photography. I was gifted a photo shoot…read morefor my dogs and this was my first photo shoot of any kind so I had no idea what to expect. I must preface my overall experience by saying that I have a very small dog and a very large dog both of whom flip between impeccably behaved and utter eejits, the size difference in itself can make it a huge challenge to get a picture of them together but add to that their characters and you know there will be tears (mine and brought on by hysterical laughter or frustration). I cannot put into words how wonderful Carrie was throughout our time. Her creativity shone through in the setting up of scenes to compliment or take advantage of the size difference. What really made the experience so positive for us was her patience, kindness, good humour, and willingness to put her life on the line to get the shot she envisioned. There were heart stopping moments particularly as Carrie lay on the grass while Ali threw a ball at her head so that my 45kg muppet would run at her face full speed. There was freedom for the dogs to do whatever they wanted to do including the big one trying a spot of gardening and joyfully claiming the root balls she dug up as her own. And there were lots and lots of tears and laughter (and I said more than a few naughty words) while trying to get a shot of the wee one jumping over a log which he would do with glee when the camera wasn't on him but whenever we were ready he ran around. With both Carrie and Ali, the prevailing factor throughout the shoot was the comfort and wellbeing of the dogs, we were never asked to do something which my dogs wouldn't naturally do and she quickly picked up when they were getting tired and that was when the shoot ended (it far overran the allotted slot). When I saw the proofs I felt quite emotional, from beautiful portraits to the most ridiculously funny moments she had caught there was no mistaking that these were my dogs, their character was so perfectly captured. I can't thank Carrie Southerton Photography enough for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. From initial contact onwards you are truly in the hands of a professional and a clear dog lover who not only has brilliant customer care skills but can back it up by leaving you utterly spoiled for photographic choice.

Mark at Images was the photographer at our wedding. I had seen some gorgeous pictures of our venue…read morethat turned out to be his. He was very calm and relaxed - I was worried he was too relaxed but on the day his style was perfect for a stressed out bride that was me :-) We had another friend taking the reportage pics and Mark was more than happy to work with him as well. They met before the day and agreed how they would operate. He gave me lots of good advice and kept everything moving on the day. And the pictures? Just beautiful! I would totally recommend Mark and Images
