Tucked into a quiet street not far from Piazzale Roma and conveniently within walking distance of our place, this self-serve laundromat is small but mighty. It has 4 small washing machines, 2 large ones, and 4 dryers. It can fill up quickly, but both times I visited (mid-afternoon), I snagged a machine without any wait. It's a bit pricey--€8 for a small wash and €10 for a large--hence 4 stars instead of 5, but you're paying for convenience in a city where laundry options are limited. Washing cycles are quick (~40 minutes), and my clothes came out looking and smelling great. I didn't use the dryers (sun-drying FTW!), but they're there if you need them. The machines are easy to use and don't require any special cards. You pay with cash--€5, €10, or €20 bills accepted--and the payment kiosk gives change. Just load your laundry, select your cycle, pay, punch in the machine number, and press "start." They also sell detergent on-site if you need it. Best bonus: the laundromat is right next to a bar called Punto G, which is owned by the same folks. If you run into any issues with the machines, just ask the bartender--super helpful. Great self laundry service in Venice , only .5 miles from my hotel AC Marriott which does not provide laundry services. Walked here using navigation and my small rolling/carryon. 2 big €10/4 small €8 washers , €2 for detergent , 1big dryer €12 & 4 small €8 dryers. About 30-35 min each for washing & drying. Big machines hold a lot. Signs posted w instruction on using pay machine and how to use. Very ez to understand, find & use! read more

After traveling Europe for a week using our Eurail pass, we needed to do laundry by the time we arrived in Venice. This was the perfect laundromat, conveniently located and easy to use. We did 2 loads of laundry and were out of there within an hour. I needed change and went to the restaurant/bar next door to break a 20 (Euros). It turns out that the owner of the restaurant also owned the laundromat. He was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this laundromat if you're ever in Venice and want to travel with freshly clean clothes. read more

VISITORS BEWARE! Owner is extremely rude and unaccommodating to tourists and travelers. Hours posted online and physically on the door state that the laundromat is open until 11pm. I walked in at 10:28pm only needing a few minutes with a dryer (I had washed and air dried clothes all day but didn't want to pack them back up damp). I walked in the lights were on and door was open, but as soon as I set my things down the owner came running in screaming they were closed. I explained to him that I understood it was too close to close to start a full washing or drying load. However, my clothes were only damp in the waistbands and cuffs. I would only need a dryer for 10 minutes maximum. He kept yelling and arguing that they were closed despite what the door said, they close when he said they close. I told him it was unfair to have hours posted if they weren't going to be followed and he said "I don't care I have a life." I know there aren't many laundry options in Venice. But his prices honestly weren't affordable and since the hours are subject to change at his disposal you're better off going somewhere, anywhere else. read more

Easy and rare laundry place south of Venice. They have 4 Dexter laundry machine preloaded with detergents. and 4 big dryer machines. I dont think my Dexter laundry app worked but they have coin changer for euros. There was a manager person who checked and cleaned the each machines during the day when I was there. He seems to be coming here daily I assume. There are some chairs inside or nearby cafes with view. The water can be splashy and may get on to walkway so be careful of wetness. They only have 2 baskets for you to move stuff so bring your own laundry bags? if you are tourists. read more

This laundry service saved us while in Venice. Not cheap but a lot less than hotel valet charges. We stayed 11 days total in Venice with our extending and glad we found this place. We were here for Christmas day and decided to come over early in the morning and sure enough we were the only ones there. Christmas morning in the laundromat? Who knew? Had a fantastic rest of the day with a great dinner and a local concert in the church. Glad they were open holidays. Clean and most machines were operating. This review is that from a Person who is unfamiliar with a Laundromat / Lavonderia. and is also a foreigner. That being said I had a great experience here. It was super very exceptionally clean, clean enough you could have a meal in here and be comfortable. There were instructions everywhere you looked on every aspect of washing drying closing time etc etc. There is a main console thing in which you pay your money select which washer dryer and hit go. and from there it starts. There was also a vending machine thingy that had all the soaps, softeners and dryer sheets for what I felt were great prices 1-2 euro each. Quality little basket things that were very clean to move your clothes from washer to dryer and a nice table to fold on. Convence to where we're staying is great. Price is high but everything is Europe is going to cost you. Most frustrating part for us were the guys who were doing laundry for a hotel or B&B, who had bags and bags of sheets and towels. 10-8 euros to just dry? This is only good if your doing all the laundry for a massive tour group. If it's only you and or a small group of four...you're better off hanging your stuff on a balcony window or the string in your bathroom. However seeing how these facilities are limited in Venice, they can dictate the price. A wash costs about the same btw. Good luck. read more

Even with the help of a local, I too fell victim of loosing money like other reviewers. Be sure to buy your detergent and put in the machine, then pay for your machine and confirm. Dryer seems to be same process. Not sure about the parking either. I was able to find a spot on the side street next to it. Just waiting for police to give me a ticket. Great, clean, easy instructions. Around the corner from a spot with food and drinks while you wait. Not cheap but worth it when needed. Overpriced price - 8 euros to wash and 8 to dry for small one - make sure you take small bills under $10 denominated and don't eat or drink at the bakery next door overpriced and not good - it's hidden so follow google maps - nothing impressive small , very small - they have no competition it's your only real option unless you do the hotel option so they can get away with the prices read more

The machines were efficient-30minute wash 30 minute dry and we were able to eat and explore meanwhile. We paid a total of 36 euros for two loads, including detergent, which seems high but in a place where laundromats are hard to come by it was worth it. I also appreciate that they are open late. The one closer to our hotel is only open in the mornings. read more
