Where do I begin? For most of my life I downplayed my beauty and my brains. Why? It was an unproductive attempt to make people like me. It wasn't until I turned 50 that I began to question that strategy. I started by going back to school and getting a professional tattoo (a big one!). At 56, I was ready to show it off, so I signed-up for a boudoir photoshoot. Something that I thought I would never do! The experience was absolutely transformative!! For me, it was not just about the photos (which are AMAZING) but about claiming my courage, strength, and beauty. I had no idea what to expect. However, Leslie is VERY organized and walks you through every step of the process. From helpful checklists, links, and posing instructions, she covers it all. Hair and make-up are done onsite the day of the shoot. So all you have to do is show-up with a willing and trusting heart. She is also a FANTASTIC photographer. Celebrating our 10 year anniversary with Leslie. We wanted something special and she delivered. You walk in the door and are greeted by smiling happy excited people and you are treated to snacks beverages, a soft shiny very feminine pink robe, and slippers, treated to a hair and makeup makeover and showered with complements boosting that confidence, while your listening to sexy upbeat music. Not neglecting your partner, he too got some special treatment and loved the attention. At first we felt a bit awkward but laughed giggled and flirted our way through one of the most rememberable days of our lives. We had so much fun we could do it again in another 10 years lol Leslie is creative and has an eye for beautiful portraits. Most amazing experience. I came out of a toxic relationship, so my self-esteem and confidence had taken a major hit. I was nervous and out of my comfort zone. I rarely took pictures of myself. Leslie made me feel comfortable and relaxed the whole time. When I left, I felt amazing about myself, but viewing the photos took it to a whole new level. I recommend every woman doing this at least once in their life. Especially when you struggle with knowing your beauty and strength. I'm absolutely in love with everything about boudoir and Leslie!!! I was nervous, but the excited nervous, but Leslie and her team really made it easy to relax and just enjoy being pampered and put into the certain poses! I LOVE how the photos turned out!! Leslie of Lavish Boudoir is an amazing photographer and business owner. She explains everything in great detail and follows up so you are so comfortable at the session. During the session, her make-up artist made me look so beautiful and Leslie helped me pose so that my pictures were the best I have ever taken - even better than my 20 year old self - which was a loong time ago.
