I love going to Lawless. I've often ended up here to watch important sports games like the World Series or the World Cup. It's a great place to gather and drink with friends and friendly strangers. It's bigger than you think, too, since besides the main room it has a mezzanine, a private room near the bathrooms, and an outdoor patio area. While they don't serve food, there are always food trucks or other food vendors there. I also love the community events they put on. And social clubs even have meetups here. It's just good vibes all around. And honestly, every beer I've had here has been amazing. I recently had a sour that I loved. They also have slushies and nonalcoholic drinks. Their NA mojito was great when they had it. Only tough part is the parking but if the lot is unavailable, there's usually street parking in the neighborhood or across Vineland at the meters. Lawless brewery is tucked away in a residential street, right by the heart of noho arts district. Great service with great staff overall and good vibes. There is plenty of street parking around and the place is walkable. I visited this past Friday for the soccer game (Brazil Vs. Haiti) and noticed it was not extremely packed as it was the night prior (Mexico had won). Walked in and formed line to place my beer order. I went with "Big Screen Energy" IPA 8.2% imperial/double. I enjoyed this flavor so much that I ended up getting two more rounds later. Plenty of beer selection on tap and even wine. They offer indoor/outdoor seating as well as some space upstairs. Indoors they have a big screen, and the outdoor patio has a TV. Lastly, the upstairs area has a smaller TV. They also have rotating food trucks for anyone that develops hunger or cravings. Very casual spot so it's easy to set up a group outing here without the hassle of major reservation. Like an Angel Brewing company in the valley. There's a food truck for food, and for snacks and drinks the bar is ready for you. Tables available on first come basis. Saw lots of moms and children here so it's definitely very family friendly. This spot is really chill, I go lucky with parking across the street, not sure how busy/hard it might be later in the day. Seemed like a cool spot! Loved seeing so many dogs. We were super put off by how rude the employees were at closing time. I don't know what's so hard about giving advance notice, like a ten minute warning, or using an ounce of kindness. The workers were super rude to people who were just vibing and drinking- still spending money at this place- by demanding they finish their drink now and leave. It really put a bad taste in my mouth. A friend had gone to the bathroom, so we tried to explain we were waiting for them, but they continued to be rude about us needing to get off the property. The friend came out right after this, so we could be like "see, we really did have a friend inside still". I probably will not come back just based on that interaction. By comparison, the second location we hit up was firm about closing time, but gave us notice and warning in advance and were not rude about it. It's not that hard. It's too bad- vibes were cool. Always fun to discover a new place all thanks to trivia tycoon! This is definitely a beer forward place and they alternate food trucks. I was glad with the food truck that was available when we went. During the none summer nights be sure to bring a jacket as it is a fairly open space so you'll get whatever temps is outside. Super friendly staff and the place is dog friendly! I'm glad we found this place a while back and since then, it's a go to. Saturday afternoon, a nice crowd with people enjoying themselves. There were couples, groups of friends meeting up, a kids birthday party held in the back area. Sports fans enjoying the game in one of the rooms. How can this not be a fun place to hang out. The beer on taps are great. Not only that, they have an adult slushy machine. The service has always been great with friendly and welcoming staff. It's pet friendly which is great. Lovely seeing other groups out and about with their fur babies. Normally I only see one food truck, but today they had two. A wings truck and sushi truck. What a combo if I do say myself. The crowd are always mellow as we're all here for the same reason. Beer and good company. Plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Back area also has a fire pit and games. Nice place for family's as we've always see kids. Plus there was a kids or baby birthday party this afternoon. Depending on the day/night, there's something going on. I was there a while back in September 2025 for a comedy show. People were coming in and out for the show. I ordered some bottles of beer to take home because I was driving. Wasn't sure what I wanted and had a quick chat with the man behind the register for him to ask me what I like and for him to give me a suggestion. The beer suggestion was perfect for my palate. A Pilsner that I really enjoyed. You can bring your dog if you want and there is outdoor seating. Parking is extremely limited so if you can, just take a ride share car. There is a food truck there that takes up a lot of the parking, but is great if you want food. The TV's are little loud so, be aware. But overall, I think you'll enjoy it there. Good beer! Over the years I have been drinking less and less beer and one of the incredible things about Lawless (because there are many) is that they have lots of options for those who aren't beer drinkers. 10,000 stars for the sour beer slushie! You would never know it was made with beer. It kind of reminded me of a classic icee served at the movie theatres, except this one comes with a little cocktail umbrella. Such a cute touch! Also their arnold palmer/seltzer concoction blew my mind. I love that they are always coming up with inventive new drinks and love how much they support the local community. I was walking along the trail and saw a nondescript sign "north Hollywood's oldest brewery" and was curious. Googled it and Lawless was a couple of blocks away. SUPER cute space! Very spacious with a downstairs, mezzanine, and outside. Parking was pretty simple down the street. I love that their menu has a taste option so you don't have to commit to a full drink you haven't tried yet. The server was very helpful and recommended some great ones. My partner is somewhat of a beer connoisseur so we got a taster flight to try. I was just there for the vibes. We tried the: Merchant Lager, Dankershim, Luminous Smog, & Lawless Latte. The merchant was an amber ale and it was his fave. My pick was the latte bc I'm way more a coffee fan than a beer fan and it was okay! He thought it was very sweet. They had a bunch of games so we played a couple and enjoyed our flights. The game box was a bit of a mess though. There was a bday party happening while we were there so it's good to know you can reserve it This particular night they had a food truck but I had already eaten so didn't get to try anything. We were able to get the long picnic table outside which was perfect with the beautiful weather and friends coming in and out. We hosted our company party at Lawless Brewing Co. and had a great experience overall. We reserved the beer garden for about 60 people, and the setup worked well for a large group. Kelly was fantastic to work with and helped coordinate everything leading up to the event. She went above and beyond by providing items we forgot, like serving utensils and a tablecloth, which made the night run smoothly. The space was family friendly and thoughtfully set up, with corn hole for the kids and heat lamps that kept everyone comfortable as the evening cooled down. The atmosphere was fun, relaxed, and ideal for a company gathering. A couple of things to be aware of. Parking was challenging on a Saturday night. The brewery is located in a neighborhood and has very limited on site parking, so street parking for 20 plus cars was difficult. The beer garden was also quite loud due to the food truck generators nearby, which made conversation harder at times. Overall, it was a great venue with excellent staff and a welcoming vibe. By far one of my favorite brewery hangout spots in the Los Angeles area! Located in North Hollywood by the NoHo Arts District, it is a great space both inside and outside for hanging out and taking part in various community events and activities that are often held here! I love the beer flights you can order for around $15-20 with four different beer/wine/seltzers - that way I can try new ones while also enjoying a few of my tried-and-true staples! Everyone here is always very friendly, welcoming, and I've stopped by for various different events throughout the year. They occasionally have a little vegan food fair in the parking lot outside of the brewery, and there's also other marketplaces and activities from week-to-week. We purchased Eventbrite tickets to watch Practical Magic at the brewery. Note: Lawless is located in residential / warehouse street so you could miss it. Their parking lot is small & we parked on the street which was a bit hard to find parking because of the apartments and the event happening at the venue. They had a smash burger food truck (bomb by the way) parked in the lot, which limited parking space. It's a small brewery but they do have a variety of beers and they even have frozen sushi es. Those were good too. On this night, they happened to have cider. At 1st, I didn't like it but I have to say, I enjoyed it. They have wooden tables and they do have a patio outside. They have a 2nd floor the you can go up there to hang out & people watch. Love their service, they are so down to earth and chill. Not sure what to order? They can definitely recommend something that will suit your taste. The bathrooms are unisex & they are clean. They do have on going events and you can follow them on IG. So this is basically a brewery (in case you didn't know). I'm not a beer fan so I had limited options. My friend had Leap Day Double Imperial IPA and loved it. My man had Hollywood Pale Ale and said it was good, light & refreshing. I had the Swirl Frosé wine slushie. It was yummy. Thankfully there was a taco table outside where we could get food. They don't sell food at the brewery. It's a warehouse that was mostly open ion one side with tables and a balcony. 3 tables had reserved signs on them for the musicians. Later I asked if we could sit there to enjoy the band and was told ok. There is an only tiny parking lot. We went for recon to see their even space. We were hoping for an "open mic night" to play music. But they actually have "Jam night". That night there were bluegrass performers coming and going. But in a traditional jam, they seemed to be performing for each other (in a circle) and not for the crowd. Not sure if I got my mosquito bites there or on the 4 block walk back to the car. read more

came here to celebrate graduating -- after my ceremony. it was a Thursday nite football game-day, so I expected it to be more crowded, but since all of the tv's are inside, we were able to enjoy the fire al fresco without any extra noises or distractions which was really nice. the food truck did take a long time for a GRILLED CHEESE, but scanning in your own drinks & not having to go inside every time was pretty nice. the drinks all came out really fast, which was a huge surprise. wouldn't say its the friendliest place (the service / engagement is VERY MINIMAL; its here's what you ordered, bye...) & they don't have the best parking AT ALL... I had no idea how bad it was -- especially considering it wasn't even crowded that nite. either way, that is the #1 deterrent to return, that's for sure. I did enjoy the options for beer & I did enjoy supporting a local business. this seems like a decent place to come for someone who doesn't like social interactions & the outdoor space. keep in mind, the air-con machine blasts beside the seat every 15mins or so & it is LOUD -- but you do have choices: the machinery sound from the food truck or the HVAC unit for the building. lol. Initially I had wished to have brought my dogs, but I'm glad I didn't because some people think its appropriate to let their pet roam on a flexi leash & get all up in your business & cry/whine from under the table beside you. so, keep that in mind if you're planning to be your pet & maybe be more courteous. First time coming to this brewery! We really liked it! The ambience was so good, it wasn't too busy for a Sunday. On Sunday's they have $6 mimosas, Micheladas, and mocktails which is such a good deal! I got the Sweet Mango Michelada and really enjoyed it. My friends got a mai tai mocktail and the Savory Mango Michelada. I loved that you could order straight from your table and they bring it to you. The service is fast and all the employees are great. We're looking forward to coming back soon to check out the different beers. Lawless is the kind of brewery you can coming to and have a relaxing time out on their patio area seating or have a fun social gathering in their pinball room or the upstairs level of the brewery. For the 3 years I've been coming here the beer menu seems to change a bit, but their two Hazy IPAs, along with Dankershim ipa seem to be their flagship staples. If you're not a fan of beer they have a few wines, a cider, and a seltzer on the menu. As far as food goes they have food trucks that set up in the outdoor patio area. I recently celebrated my birthday here and have also come late night with my run club and outside food has always been allowed here. For parking, their lot fits maybe 5 cars, there is street parking, but spots can be limited. The streets east of the brewery are residential so there's usually cars parked all along the street, but the plus side is each street block is pretty small so you don't really have a long walk to the brewery is you end up parking three streets over. Last thing I forgot to mention is the service..... it's great. You can order at the bar, or just open a tab on their website from your phone/table menu and they'll bring the drinks right to you. read more

Dogs, kids, swords, bridgerton, artists sketching, Drag Queens, unexpected friend encounters & more! 5 stars for the staff, cleanliness, vibe & appeal. Unique beer, yacht bock was good (I like light/ hefes), Hefegeist was ok (nutty) though the best concoction was the slushies. Great location, very spacious venue in heart of NoHo, with kegs & barrels next to you. Very ADA Accessible, with an elevator to 2nd floor which was great. Also great view of the barrels & venue from the 2nd floor. Parking is tough but you can park close (side streets) & walk. Was surprised by how many kids and dogs were around. No food, but a food truck was there. Somehow the simultaneous combo of Bridgerton dress up model sketching & Drag Queen event, while totally unrelated, seemed to create a great energy & camaraderie. It was busy, but not to an uncomfortable level, even ran into 2 friends! So many events going on, everyone was friendly & great energy / crowd. Lawless is literally a hidden gem, nestled way down a half-residential, half- industrial side street near the Vineland/Magnolia Ralphs and the now-defunct Walgreens. There's a tiny parking lot and free street parking may usually be found. Their beers and seltzers are great, and their summer slushies are perfect for a hot day - just don't expect to get one right when they open, as they need to give the slushy machines time to churn. The staff members are friendly and efficient. There are usually various food trucks on site, and they host a wide range of events from art shows to gamer gatherings to stand-up comedy or live music. We've gone to the Valley Writers' Meetup a few times, held outside on the little side patio. The venue hosts the daily/nightly concurrent events seamlessly; there are various areas for the different groups (and patrons who are not there for any event) and no one obnoxiously overpowers the relaxed ambience. In the two years I've been a patron, Lawless has been consistently busy, even right after opening for the day, but with all the outside space and the various indoor rooms, it's never been uncomfortably packed. I've come by myself with my crossword puzzle book to relax with a beer, and it's a perfect spot for a meetup with friends, a post-dinner drink, or a day date. read more
