Ended up coming here, since the place I was supposed to go to was closed till later, and have to say it worked out great. This spot is really chill, I go lucky with parking across the street, not sure how busy/hard it might be later in the day. The service was nice, I noticed that they really kept the place clean and kept walking around to pick up empty glasses. The atmosphere is chill, I've seen people with kids and dogs. They also have food trucks there, and one guy passes out some samples too for people to try. Honestly it was a good impression for the first time, can't wait to come again.

This is a very chilled brewery. Very laid back, bunch of dogs and kids on Saturday afternoon. A perfect spot to casually grab a few beers. There was a food truck on site when I was there but you can bring your own food and snacks. The double dry IPA was good too.

There's nothing wrong with spending a Saturday afternoon lounging. Listening to great music and of course a nice cold glass of beer.... I'm glad we found this place a while back and since then, it's a go to. Saturday afternoon, a nice crowd with people enjoying themselves. There were couples, groups of friends meeting up, a kids birthday party held in the back area. Sports fans enjoying the game in one of the rooms. How can this not be a fun place to hang out. The beer on taps are great. Not only that, they have an adult slushy machine. The service has always been great with friendly and welcoming staff. It's pet friendly which is great. Lovely seeing other groups out and about with their fur babies. Normally I only see one food truck, but today they had two. A wings truck and sushi truck. What a combo if I do say myself. The crowd are always mellow as we're all here for the same reason. Beer and good company. Plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Back area also has a fire pit and games. Nice place for family's as we've always see kids. Plus there was a kids or baby birthday party this afternoon. Depending on the day/night, there's something going on. Something was happening Saturday night but we didn't stay for it. The music is always great. If you haven't been, i highly recommend stopping by for a beer and snack. There's always plenty of parking. Street parking in the neighborhood as well as a parking lot. Depending on if the trucks utilizes the lot or not. It's a good way to spend an afternoon or a night cap.

Cool place! I came here for their Oktoberfest and had such a great time. The vibe was lively but laid back, and I really love how welcoming they are to dogs-it makes the whole atmosphere feel even more fun and community-oriented. Great beer, great people, and definitely somewhere I'll be coming back to.

Came in on a weekday just after they opened and enjoyed some peace and solitude with a beer. Staff was very helpful in selecting just the right hazy IPA for me and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. I can't wait to come back here again soon.

I'm not usually at breweries but went for a friends engagement party and this place was pretty nice. It was cool to have a section just for us for a couple hours and lots of heat lamps. I got their cider which was great. I do wish they had other ciders but overall it was nice

Lots of families(kids), friends and doggos on a Sunday afternoon. The staff and regulars were all so welcoming to me my 4 month pup. They have nice Sunday drink specials (see photo). I like that this place is close enough to the arts district strip but far enough to be away from the chaos. According to one of the regulars they play all major sports on screens with sound. We'll be back to catch the Dodger games here.

I was walking along the trail and saw a nondescript sign "north Hollywood's oldest brewery" and was curious. Googled it and Lawless was a couple of blocks away. SUPER cute space! Very spacious with a downstairs, mezzanine, and outside. Parking was pretty simple down the street. I love that their menu has a taste option so you don't have to commit to a full drink you haven't tried yet. The server was very helpful and recommended some great ones. My partner is somewhat of a beer connoisseur so we got a taster flight to try. I was just there for the vibes. We tried the: Merchant Lager, Dankershim, Luminous Smog, & Lawless Latte. The merchant was an amber ale and it was his fave. My pick was the latte bc I'm way more a coffee fan than a beer fan and it was okay! He thought it was very sweet. They had a bunch of games so we played a couple and enjoyed our flights. The game box was a bit of a mess though. There was a bday party happening while we were there so it's good to know you can reserve it This particular night they had a food truck but I had already eaten so didn't get to try anything. I'll def be back!

Got here on the tail end of the night we tried to get there earlier, but the parking was near impossible to find so we ended up elsewhere at first. The themed beers for St. Patrick's were good and the asada fries I'd definitely would come back for!

Ask the Community - Lawless Brewing

Is their dedicated onsite handicapped parking and outdoor seating or is the parking lot used for seating or food trucks?

There is always dedicated handicapped parking, the food trucks are always towards the back area of the blacktop

    Is there any food here?

They don't have a kitchen but have food trucks that come in. Check their Instagram.

Hello, are we able to bring our own food? Also are children allowed on the premises? Lastly, we plan to be there with a party of 12 for a 40th birthday. Are reservations required?

You can bring your own food, there's also food trucks regularly. Kids are definitely allowed and welcome and reservations not required but I'm sure they wouldn't mind a call and heads up

Are dogs allowed inside the building? Or just on the outside patio?

Yes! Dogs are allowed inside, which makes this one of our favorite palces!

Hello! If I wanted to just have a group of about 8 people do I need to book an event/reserve table? Or is it a 1st come 1st serve basis?

Hi Ruby - for a group of that size, you can just come in! No reservation needed. Cheers!

Does this location do growler fills? If so, and I realize it would vary by beer, but about how much to fill a 32oz or 64 oz growler?

Hi Jamie! We do not currently offer growler fills, but we do offer fills of the majority of our beers in 32 oz crowler cans. Hope to see you at Lawless soon!

Do they take cash? (I see the barcode/Apple Pay option... but not sure if they also take cash)

Yes we accept cash. We encourage customers to pay with their phones through the QR codes, but can also accept cash at the register.

Can you bring in food? Or is there a food truck schedule?

Hello! Yes, we have a food truck every night. Our food calendar is on our website: https://lawlessbeer.com/taproom/…

Is the beer consider vegan friendly?

14 out 15 are vegan friendly Orange Grove contains a milk product.

Do they only serve beer or is there wine also? Bars games, like darts or shuffleboard? Thanks

They only serve their own products, and since they don't make wine, they don't serve wine. They're…

    What is the parking situation?

There’s street asking as well as their own free lot.

I didn't have a good experience, but decided that it could have been a one-time bad luck thing, so I didn't review. I recently tried it again now that it became Brews Brothers, and I'm sorry to say that it really misses the mark for me. Here is the breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros: One star for friendly service and being dog friendly. One star for good alcohol. Cons: - Seating is very uncomfortable. When this place was Stout, seating was very comfy. But for some reason, they've raised the bench seating WAY too high, to the point that your feet dangle if you're under 5'6". You're WAY above the table, and it's awkward and quite uncomfortable. - Food is sub-par. We tried an Okie burger and an ahi sandwich. The Okie burger was dry, tasteless, and underseasoned. The ahi sandwich was bland and unremarkable. The fries were far too overbreaded for my taste. I used to love this place, but now, after two not-great experiences with meh food and bad seating, I do not think I'll be back. Please, guys! Lower your bench seating and improve your burgers! You're competing with Forman's and Laurel Tavern!

The Enchanted Manor was the first place we looked at and we both felt that it was the right fit. Georgia has created a little oasis in her back yard that we felt fit our vibe - lowkey, but classy. We had booked originally for approximately 60 guests, however once all the pieces fell into place we were closer to 50. Unfortunately our guest count dropped below 50 just after our window to let Georgia know, but she was kind enough to offer us the price difference. We applied that balance towards renting some heaters and lighting the fire pits as the weather got colder than anticipated, as well as to handling the trash. (Pay attention to the contract, you are responsible for removing trash or there is a fee.) One thing I didn't realize before booking was that there is space for a kitchen, but it needs to be built out for your event, so make sure you consider that into any costs. Georgia was really helpful and responsive to all of our questions (we had so many) and anything that we couldn't do she had very reasonable reasons. (For example, at one point I thought I'd like confetti, but she explained why she doesn't allow that on her property which made total sense!) The weeks before I became worried that there wasn't enough decor, so we bought some items that we ended up returning. Once the rentals arrived, combined with the lighting, everything was beautiful as it was. Though there is excellent lighting, I would recommend watching your step as we did have a few tripping incidents (that were not alcohol fueled in some cases) as the ground changed. It was more due to the way things were spaced and we'd have to make sure to look down as we stepped around things, but we managed to survive. We've started to see some photos and everything looked beautiful; it was a romantic but relaxed vibe which was just what we wanted. I worried it wouldn't feel like a wedding, but it did. Georgia was a gracious host, our guests enjoyed her home (we made sure to tell them that they could rent it as well for an overnight getaway) and we can't wait to start reading her book. She gave us the sweetest compliment after, saying how kind our guests were and how that spoke to who my husband and I were as well. We stayed in touch after the wedding and I hope we meet again in the future for events or just a dinner to hear of her adventures! PS - her cats were big hits all around, too!
