No, but I never tend to buy low bid for something that involves danger to my property, the people working, or my neighbor's property. Their crew was efficient, was careful to preserve our perennials, and removed all the bamboo rhizomes leaving a beautiful area of clean raked earth. They cleaned up everything at the end of the day so that anyone walking by would never have known 24 hours earlier there had been a 35 foot high stand of bamboo in our front yard.

Bill was gracious, charming and very understanding of my predicament. He set up a time to come and look at my very old and very, very dead Oak. My wonderful neighbor allowed Capitol Care Tree to drive a Bucket Truck and Shredder into his yard so the the crew could access the tree, as it was too dangerous for anyone to climb. The crew was so quiet, no music and no loud voices, Each man had a job to do and he made sure that he did it. When they were all finished, they cleaned up my neighbors yard. If there were not a big hole in the sky were my tree used to be, you would never know that anything had happened. I have worked with three different tree companies in the past. Tim was great to work with, providing valuable info about aspects of the project I hadn't considered, and explaining everything thoroughly along the way. Landscape and Drainage extended downspouts, added French drains and drain boxes, and took down two trees. They also offered the best price of the three companies I got estimates from. I was so happy with the results and the experience working with them that I sent Tim to my parents' house, where he did additional drainage and tree work. My wife and I moved into a 70 year old house on a hill. The previous owners had done quite a bit of…read morework - french drain, waterproofing the basement, 3 sump pumps, steel beam reinforced walls - but we spotted some water along the basement wall. Tim came out to look at that and a bunch of other stuff (future work), and gave us a plan to resolve the immediate issues. On the inside, his guys came out and jackhammered along our foundation, installed a new system to collect and direct any water seeping through the wall to our existing sump pump discharge line, and laid new concrete. They even worked around a bit of a curveball without needing to deviate from the estimate. Outside, they dug a 22-ft trench and installed a french drain to alleviate the hydrostatic pressure on the basement wall, routed our HVAC condensate line into the french drain, installed 2 new window wells which allowed them to grade the yard away from the house, and installed another french drain on the far end of the garden to help mitigate the flash flooding we experience there. They finished up by laying fescue sod over the affected area, making it look nice and clean. All of the work was done in two days, with some minor cleanup work on the 3rd day after the concrete had cured in the basement. The price was good, the guys worked hard, the work was done on time, and the final product was excellent. We will be using them again for our retaining walls, landscaping, and whatever else comes our way.
