Dr. Saalouke knows his stuff! I have been going to Dr. Saalouke since I was 3 months old. I am now 22. Still I go for checkups at least once a year, and I actually look forward it. I really do love everyone there and I could never say enough amazing things about them all. They've all been there for me since the beginning. First off, not only is Dr. Saalouke a fantastic doctor, he's a great guy. You can tell that he actually truly cares about his patients. Marcy, the echo tech, is awesome and so sweet. They are both so good at what they do. When you call up, more than likely you'll get Diane. She's great too and very helpful. If you are looking for a good pediatric cardiologist in the Youngstown area, give Dr. Saalouke's office a call. I am sure that he would point you in the direction of an excellent pediatric cardio thorasic surgeon or recommend another great doctor if he doesn't specialize in what your child has. I was quoted 45.00 for the appointment but once he found out I fell at an establishment his tune completely changed. He actually coached me on what to say to the establishment (aka lying- not admitting that I started to feel better). He went so far as to suggest I meet a lawyer at his office. And all of a sudden the visit was 250.00. He gave me his personal cell and assured me he would drop what he was doing to answer. I went twice. The second time wasn't much different. In fact I got the whole spiel about his modest home and his childhood friends of color. The company who is paying the initial amount of out of pocket expenses for my fall told me I could send them the bill. He would have received his ill gotten 500.00. Novicky refused to pay them directly. He personally called me two days before Christmas to discuss it. Very much not appreciated. I received a bill today telling me if I didn't pay out of pocket the 500.00 I would be sent to collections on January 6th which isn't even an appropriate duration of time. I'm very willing to pay the 45.00 that I was originally quoted. Novicky (I can't even call him Dr) is an ambulance chaser. I will NOT be bullied. I desperately need to go to a chiropractor and I'd trust the FedEx guy to adjust me before I would trust him. Very very disappointed.
