I have stayed with NAH ever since my first visit and that makes it ten years. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to the last pet of the original six recently, and Dr. Novey was her usual exceptional self and helped my little guy and me get through it. I cannot recommend Dr. Novey, Dr. Hall, Dr. Winters and Dr. Scarpinato enough. The NAH staff is amazing and the facility is always clean. Some of the staff has been there since the first day I arrived and to me, that says a lot about how Dr. Novey manages her staff and business. There are always a few kitties available to adopt and I appreciate how NAH helps these rescue animals find a forever home. One kitty I adopted had been there for over six months needing serious care, including surgeries and an eventual limb amputation. The patient care records I received for him is pages and pages and pages long! The amount of care and cost they put into saving him was enormous! If that alone is not an indication of the team dedication at NAH to animal care, I do not know what else to say!! Medical care for pets is expensive similarly to getting medical care for yourself without insurance. I found myself in a tight financial squeeze between jobs and with a sick pet; NAH put me on a payment schedule, so I know if you are a client that may be an option. If you are looking for a great veterinarian practice in Tallahassee, do yourself and your pets a favor and drop in at NAH!

This was once a great vet practice but something changed about 6 years ago or so…read more Every routine visit turns into an expensive adventure, it's like they are desperate to make money. Getting our dog diagnosed with a rash was $700+. They prescribed a lot of medicines, one actually worked and actually says 'long-term use' on the prescription. The catch is, we have to take the dog in for an unnecessary exam and extra testing for every refill. Nickel and dimeing pet owners to death. Sad because they took such good care of our previous dog, but that was 12 years ago. We're going somewhere else.

I often take in orphaned and sometimes severely injured pets, and I know I can count on Los Robles to provide the best care possible. Everyone there is compassionate, knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. Vet techs go above and beyond, and incredibly well-trained and professional. Because I foster for so many different rescues, I often need to use other veterinarians contracted by the rescue. When I do, my appreciation for Los Robles grows even more. I also take my personal pets including Golden Retriever Bodi and two kitties to Los Robles. Through the years, I have had so many positive experiences with the team there...from the compassion shown when I had to make the difficult decision to put my elderly kitty down during a power outage in the aftermath of a hurricane to the alternative treatments given to my dog for his arthritis to innovative, life-saving measures Dr. Donofro and her team have done to save sick puppies and kittens I've fostered to the special care given to my fragile young puppy and kitten fosters, I highly recommend and trust Los Robles Animal Hospital!

I do have another baby named Coco. I would not take my animals to anyone else. Barbara Harrison So after giving this review I called to make an appointment for Coco. I was treated by a very rude and very unprofessional receptionist, She answered the phone by saying (hello). Did not identify where I was calling. I asked to talk to her manager and I was told they did not have a manager. So I want to say I will never darken the door of this animal hospital. Dr. Stege sold out her practice and they kept the name (Timberlane Hospital). They are hurting her reputation that she had had for at least 20 years.

Review - Timberland Animal Hospital BEWARE: Our dog went to…read moreTimberland Animal Hospital for a routine check-up. We were drawn by proximity, but the experience was shocking. The veterinarian pushed repeatedly for neutering and elective surgery despite our refusal. After a brief exam, which included a physical exam, we were told to collect urine and stool ourselves, even though lab work was already included in our $800+ bill. The vet personally called the next day to report normal lab results--which were later proven completely inaccurate. Less than a week later, our dog was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma by a specialist, who confirmed Timberland's labs could not have been correct. When we reported this, the vet was cold, defensive, and showed no empathy. She offered no acknowledgment of our distress or responsibility for the apparent errors. Would our dog's diagnosis be any different if Timberlane had done their job and provided the veterinary service they were supposed to provide - the answer is no, but I can tell you this is a very difficult time for us and all Timberland Animal Hospital did was make things that much worse. This was a gut-wrenching experience. Timberland failed to provide accurate testing, thorough care, or compassion. For anyone who cares about their pet's health--look elsewhere
