If you need services beyond mowing, make sure it is clear and and in writing exactly what is to be done and the total price. The actual work they do is quality but the poor communication and defensiveness can result in a project not done properly and pricing disputes.

One nursery I visited sent an estimator who ignored related landscaping requests and only gave an estimate on tree removal and cleanup ($1,300). They never provided the additional estimates requested and made excuses. Garcia's sent someone out within a couple of days of making contact. They said the removal cost would be $700, but offered a discount because it was early in the season ($550). I accepted the offer. I didn't hear back about scheduling the removal for a couple of weeks (they said because of rain delays they said). Soon after, the work was completed.
