When I returned to my vehicle around 4:40p, my car was vandalized and ransacked. Glass shreds & items in the console were in driver's seat. The drivers side door handle was ajar & window was totally smashed out with a boulder (large brick) thrown through the window, bouncing off, hitting the door panel and back window landing on the passengers side door causing more damage, ending up on the floor. I immediately went to police officer that worked that day & she described my car & stated, the incident happened as soon as I left that morning. She showed me a photo of who she thought was the suspect but was uncertain. She asked me to call the Baltimore police department & report the incident, in which I did immediately. The police stated they could not come out, took the report over the phone & stated that I could leave the garage once the incident was reported. Photos & incident report number was given & photos were sent as requested. To date, nothing was ever done to locate the person that vandalized my vehicle. I was told my an employee that, "Rounds were not made until after 10a that morning, that's when the staff came in to work & realized what happened to my vehicle. As a paying consumer, out of concern & courtesy you would think garage staff would have called. I received no phone call or notification that my car was vandalized, until I got off work & found out by surprise for myself. A couple days went by before speaking with the manager "Micky" inquiring about security, making round to ensure vehicles are safe while parking there & as a paying consumer. I asked about the responsibility of the garage for ensuring incidents like this are minimized. Micky nonchalantly with a smirk stated, "yes, we make to rounds." When asked about the responsibility for damages to my vehicle, he stated "We take no responsibility for incidents such as this. Its the owner's responsibility!" Therefore, "Caution to everyone that parks at Big Lexington Market Parking Garage "Park at your own risk, your responsible for damage incurred. " Better still find a safer garage to park, where there's police & security presence around the clock to deter incidents such as this from occurring in the first place. Poor customer service at its best. I don't want to see this happen to anyone!

My first time parking near Lexington Market headed to a business meeting and I was referred to this garage as the easiest place to park near my appointed destination. True, it was right around the corner! Enter the garage and you are given a yellow coin...ok, no paper ticket, that has to be good for the environment. I'd never used this method and in typical fashion left the item (just like I would with a paper ticket) in my car and went on to my meeting. Following the meeting I went back to the door I exited the garage only to find that I could not enter....yep, you guessed it....I needed the coin to access. Ok, no worries...I walked around the garage and figured I could just walk in where I entered with my car. There was an office, there were people in the officce....they were all too happy to help. They unlocked a side door for me, I hopped the elevator and got to my car lickety-split. Exiting I just dropped my coin in the electronic stand and zipped my credit card and was on my merry way. Thank you Parking Garage staff for your help, as I'm sure you encounter others like me that don't pay attention to the giant yellow signs that say "Did you forget to take your COIN with you?" - that you notice ON YOUR WAY OUT....LOL

There was nothing on that garage saying you couldn't park there, it wasnt a special spot. I paid and you want to say if i dont pay your crazy $100 ticket, im going to get booted. Im so livid. You do everything right and these greedy scam artists will still try and bleed you dry. Crazy. Never in my life will i use this garage again. For this, they told us we got a 'ticket' for parking in the compact car only spot despite us not seeing any indication that the spot was for monthly parkers. The attendant was being incredibly rude about it, told us it was then $50. They knew immediately that we made a mistake because our ticket was invalid and could not be registered in the machine. The place is a total scam, but I get the convenience of it being in downtown though, make sure to read allllll the signs because they'll come down and show pictures of the signs to patronize you and say you didn't read it. They will also get super sensitive when you serve them the kind of attitude they were giving and say that the whole conversation has been recorded, super fun experience.

We were offered complimentary valet service for dinner, but opted to self-park since the valet was pretty backed up and we were running late as is. For garage-freaks like me, this garage is above ground with an attendant on site. You grab a ticket upon entry and use the same ticket to exit at the end of the evening. No self-pay station or need to display the ticket on your dash. Hope this review helps!
