Came here through a guest pass from a friend!…read more I came here to try out the classes and they are very high quality. The 7-day pass that I got from my friend allowed me access to 7 classes. At some point I did receive an email where they extended my pass by two days which was nice. This allowed me to try another 4 classes. Overall, I tried Ride (cycling), Reform, Hot Pilates, Yoga Flow, and their boxing class. The instructors do know how many times you've been to their class based on the roster and they either know or you can tell them it's your first class so they can make sure they watch out for you if you need help. Ride with Becca and Thuy was very fun! The lights and music are so fun. Becca was so kind as to advise us that the "side bars" (seating on the sides) was no fun, so she tried to seat me and my partner together in the main area for the bikes, which she ended up being able to accommodate. My partner and I did end up on the side bars for Thuy's hip hop x kpop ride and it was definitely not as cool, but still fun nontheless, because Thuy had such great energy and she brought these little light sticks for us to have fun with (to keep as a souvenir, as well!) Anyway, Becca was also such a fun instructor! I am impressed that the other gym goers are so good at remembering choreography and following along. I've done Isa's classes for Hot Pilates and Yoga Flow and her instruction is great. I feel very relaxed but also empowered doing her classes. They are done in the Sweat+ room, so it does get warm. A lot of people have yoga towels for their mats and I would say that's a great idea. The main downside of the Sweat+ room is that at the front of the class there are ants...not sure if they have noticed that, hence I knocked a star off. Reform was nice! I had one of the instructors twice and she knew it was my first time so she made sure to keep an eye out for me if I wasn't particularly sure about what to do. It's nice that the instructors walk around the room to help make adjustments. The instructors do vary on difficulty level, so I would say try out multiple instructors to find the one that suits your level. I appreciated that the reform instructors handed out sanitary wipes for us to wipe the equipment down after use. Their boxing class with Jacob was great. His energy is infectious and you can't NOT have fun in there! He was very welcoming and inclusive even though I had some struggles remembering the moves. I would say overall, you would very likely get used to the moves in each of these classes. The instructors are very enthusiastic and care about their members. I would say that the front desk staff have also been very friendly and helpful. Overall, facilities are fairly new and clean. I did also try out their recovery area with the leg compression only, which I believe all of the services in here is for a premium. The other trade off for this gym is that if you want to do the sled push, you would be in the center of the gym where everyone can essentially watch you. I haven't really tried out their equipment but it looks pretty good. Outside of the class rooms, there are areas where you can practice mat exercises. I think I would consider a membership here; the costs are worth it if you are thinking about doing their classes on a regular basis.

Went in there to get more info about membership since I primarily do yoga! My yogi friends are…read moreraving about the reformer class. Went in there and got pressured to enroll, prices will go up, no free trial, yards, yada. The employees there don't look happy and the reviews about customer service is accurate. The club is nice, so giving it the star that it deserves. Based on service and enthusiasm to enroll members is lacking. For the price, at least allow people to see how it is for at least a few days.

I've joined them back in 2020 and then dropped out when work got intense (or I got lazy). 2 years later I was itching to get back into the gym, shopped around a few places, and couldn't find the same vibe that EG FieldHouse has. Working with Josh, Rachel and the rest of the team here is just unparalleled ... they make working out a whole lot more fun! I've done their regular membership, personal training ... and about to try their physical therapy program starting next week. This team has my full trust, and my business.

I go to sleep a little bit earlier at night, but start my day off with more energy and better attitude. The coaches, Torsten and Josh, are awesome! Inclusive atmosphere, all different levels of fitness, no pressure to perform harder than you're comfortable with -- but enough pressure to push your boundaries and encourage progress. I lost 18 lbs. in the first 2 months!! From 189lbs.- 171lbs.!! Ultimately significantly lowering my cholesterol. I don't even know who I am anymore!

I have spent so many years…read moretrying different workout classes at different gyms, trying to find one that really stuck with me, but so many of those classes felt impersonal and disconnected, like they see you as just another client but are not actually interested in helping you reach your goals. Not here! Coaches JB, Jojo, Kendall, and Kai all know you by name here and treat you like family from the get go. I have tried losing weight so many times in the past, to the point where I did really unhealthy things for years to try to get the number on the scale to go down. Then, a few months after I started at this gym, they proposed the challenge to lose 20 pounds in six weeks. I had never lost that much weight ever, let alone in six weeks, but given that I'd already lost 10 pounds since starting at the gym from diet and exercise, I figured it'd be worth a shot. It was HARD. A lifestyle change through and through. Going to the gym 4-5 times a week, getting 10K steps minimum a day, and eating so clean were things I was not used to. But they were with me every step of the way checking on me and my progress. And in the end, I lost 26 pounds in 6 weeks!! I've never been prouder of myself, and I am so thankful to this gym for their support. I think if there's anything that I'd change about this challenge, I would have liked for there to be another metric besides weight that could be used to track progress and constitute a "success" for the challenge. I say this because I saw some of the other people at the gym doing the challenge that were obviously losing inches all over their bodies but were still stressed out because the number on the scale was not reflecting the progress they were seeing. So maybe for future challenges, if there's a way to make it like "20 pounds or X amount of inches lost in six weeks" I think that'd be good. Just a suggestion though! All things considered, the people I spoke to that were stressed about the number were still able to push through and make it in the end. Thank you guys so much for changing my life. I appreciate it more than you know

I was hesitant to go at first - would I even be able to complete a single workout? Well, I should have gone a lot sooner! The Kaia coaches are wonderful, as are the Kaia girls! I was welcomed by everyone, and the coaches helped me modify exercises so I could do them successfully. At first, I did have a hard time completing the workouts and was very sore. But everyone kept telling me I was doing great, and encouraged me to continue. Fast forward 6 months, and I'm in the best shape I've been in since I was 20 (and, ahem, it's been a few years since then). I don't look like a mom with 2 young kids, that's for sure! I've dropped several dress sizes and can actually see my stomach muscles. I can keep up with my kids and I feel fantastic. I've met some great friends at the gym, and have even registered to run a half marathon with them. Honestly, if someone had told me a year ago that this is where I'd be today, I wouldn't have believed them. If you're on the fence about whether to sign up, don't be. Hands down, signing up for Kaia has been the best thing I've done for myself in years.

When I went to my first class I was amazed that so many other women were there! Okay I was amazed that ANYONE was there at that time. There were about 20 women, I think, and they all showed up ready for a kick butt workout. Even if it was 5:15! I promise your body will adjust and you'll pop right out of bed, ha ha! I am hoping so, anyway. The second great thing about the program is the people. There is a positive vibe, a feeling of "we're in this together!" and they play great workout music to keep you moving. The routines are killer. I may have overdone it, but hey, I'm okay with that. I just need to keep practicing some of the ones that I struggle with (Lunges, squats, push ups). We mix up these "fun" ones with running, jumping rope, and crazy walking jumps. The best part is we do a lot of it outside, which gives you a surge of fresh, cool air. Another great thing is the instructors. They are encouraging, focused and personally interested in how you are doing. Are you pushing yourself? Are you doing the exercises properly? Are you keeping a good attitude? Are you eating well? I can't wait to get stronger, because I know I will enjoy the classes more. This is the best thing I've done for myself in many, many years. It adds routine, positivity and fitness to my life. I recommend you try it out. They'll let you do a class free, I think, just to see what you think. Thank you so much, Kaia's Best: Jenn and Ashley :) ~Linda

You have to turn on the sauna for maybe 5-10 minutes so it can warm up to your desired temperature. They recommend the sauna be 120F for best results. There are different types of workouts, and from what I remember there was cycing, glutes, and iso--just to name a few. Each sauna room seems to accommodate up to 3 people. You can reserve a class ahead of time and complete your workout. The more workouts you complete and the more calories you burn, you earn points to redeem towards items. The iso workout was like 30-45 minutes long. It was actually very challenging. For a workout in which I usually would be able to complete outside of a sauna, inside of the sauna, it was WAY harder, and I came out of the workout DRENCHED in sweat. Outside of the rooms, there are cubbies where you can place your items in. They have cameras on the inside of the building so that can help with the safety of your items in the cubbies. They do offer little life alert lanyards that you can bring into your workout in case you're alone and worry about your safety--whether from the workout or your personal safety. I highly recommend bringing your water bottle and a towel (they do provide towels but there may be a charge). You WILL get easily dehydrated because you are sweating so much. However, the sweating made me feel very relaxed at the end of the workout. I would love to do their workouts again in the future. Some criticisms I saw when I read about the Hotworx workouts in figuring out if I should join or not, is that the workout videos don't change very often and that people wished the instructors provided alternate movements for movements that may be more difficult for people. Just some things I've noticed in figuring out if I should commit to classes. The staff were very friendly in explaining how the facility runs. Overall, I would recommend Hotworx based off my experiences!
