But for sending important documents and CD files to my clients, I send them through 2Go. 2Go is more reliable than Xend, and has cheaper rates than LBC, and I guess this is just a personal preference of mine but don't you just love that shade of magenta they use in their branding? It's so refreshing to the eye! Their next-day delivery is really helpful too when I'm in a rush to send important documents. Sometimes I do find it more practical and time-saving to send documents and other stuff via couriers as opposed to bringing them myself to my clients office. They asked for my address and contact number again just to make sure that it's right. 11/17 - another delivery attempt failed. I was home the whole day, even received packages from different couriers. 11/19 - another delivery attempt failed. I called them up again to ask for the status and told me to wait for the delivery (no exact date, they said they can't make promises. WTF!?) I don't think they were even trying. 11/22 came i check for status and accdg to their website they brought it back to the sender/warehouse. Talk about incompetence.

But when nobody else is available and our deliveries (for business) need to arrive to a certain location the next day, I brave the queues and go to the LBC branch (we only trust the deliveries of our items to LBC) in SM Southmall, since it's the one closest to our house. As expected, the queues are usually long. But this branch is quite impressive because transactions are quick, or quicker than you would expect. The people on the counters were also polite and approachable. I had several inquiries regarding their services, and they willingly answered my questions.

(Yes, I was that trusting) Great branch, easy to find and no long lines. Kudos!

They provided a packet I taped the two keys together and inserted them in the packet. I got a tracking number and checked it and it was updated to confirm the item was received at their warehouse and then handed over to their delivery partner DHL. The tracking said delivery to TIE-UP. I waited a couple days and then decided to find out what this TIE-UP referred to and why no update. They told me that the package was in DHL possession and would be updated when the package was on a flight out. Nothing happened so I called them again. They said they would escalate the matter and that I should call back. Finally 9 days after I dropped off the package it said it was back at their warehouse. I called and they said DHL had refused the package because it was in the wrong envelope. FFS these people are as incompetent as it gets. I was then told I had to go back to the drop of store to get them to retrieve my package. It was put in a document package and thats why it was refused. So what the price would have been the same. This is just the worst customer experience that I have ever had. Fuck LBC and Fuck DHL.

There are cheaper options, to be sure, but LBC offers professionalism that you can't avail of elsewhere. I'm particularly fond of the online tracking features, which allows you to find out where your package is when you take note of its tracking number. When important documents are concerned, LBC is the sure, safe choice. Also, it's really convenient how you can pay your other bills here, which is what I do to avoid the long lines at other centers.
