The larger picture is: 3 Big Burgers, 3 Croque Monsieur(?), 1 bottle of red wine, 1 tea, 1 diet Coke and 4 cafe. 102.50 euros. Spendy? A little. A word of warning. If you live in North or South America, never, never, never, ever order a "Diet Coke" in France. Order "une carafe d'eau. Water. It has more taste.

A little too rich in the cream but still bright flavors coming through. Foie ravioli: super savory and not as heavy as it sounds. Mmmmmmmm Langoustines with stuffed squash blossom and crusted polenta: deliciousness. The langoustines were sweet and fresh. The squash blossom was very satisfying in itself. All the elements complimented each other very well. Beef medallions with asparagus, quail egg, fried sweet potatoes and an explosive fried scallion cheeseball. Simple but still lots going on. And still delicious. Dessert: I had a rhubarb crusty whippy tart number which was good, although lot of tartness and sour so might not be for everyone. I liked more my friend's panna cotta. Creamy and not too sweet. AND the kitchen was able to make substitutes and accommodations for my Friend who is Celiac. Service was impeccable. There are about 10 tables inside and we were lucky enough to sit right next to the kitchen and speak with the owner & chef Bazin Fabrice. You can see that Bazin truly loves food, the hard work and dedication shows in his dishes! Bazin has had many years of culinary study, including time spent at a 2 star rated michelin restaurant! The menu is limited with 2 options for starters (crispy cheese or blue cheese) & 2 options for entrees (fish or pork chop) & 2 desserts (chocolate mousse or apple crisp). We ordered the crispy cheese + both entrees + chocolate mousse and it was all PHENOMENAL. The ambiance is intimate and cozy, and although there are not a lot menu options, all the options they had were great and already hard enough to pick from. The service was also excellent.
