That said, the bartender was excellent and very accommodating. When we weren't fully happy with a drink, they proactively offered to change it, which was a really nice touch and showed great hospitality. The overall atmosphere is fantastic--intimate, stylish, and lively in a way that makes it a great place to spend an evening even if the drinks fall short. Overall, it feels a bit overhyped. There are definitely better cocktail bars in Paris in terms of drink quality, even if this one wins on concept, creativity, and ambience.

That vibe really is a hidden gem and finding it is worth with the effort. The drinks are designed with complexity and creativity in mind, and presentation is top notch, as our the flavors. The passion fruit cocktail was absolutely delicious, could have put back three to four of them without thinking twice. The young guy took our orders but the bartender spoke better English so she took over. Everyone there was actually super nice to us and we were the only non french people there. We ordered the apple specialty bourbon drink which was amazing and had pieces of real apple in it. After I switched to a classic old fashioned which she made just as good. By the way these are very strong drinks, well worth the $13 euro price tag. A guy then went to the small corner piano and began playing live music on a Wednesday night at 11pm! It was insane and he played some nice Earth wind and fire along with other American classics. It was such a great way to end a long day! From the valet and door staff to the hostess, maitre d and elegant servers the service could not have been much finer. Including coat check from the table and lounge settee with chairs. The bar appears to be full of whatever you would like but a signature cocktail menu that reads like a beautiful coffee table book is given to everyone. The drinks with names like Corn, Apple, etc are given to elaborate cocktails that are crafted with multiple layers of ingredients. Seems weird but everyone loved theirs and we all shared sips. I highly recommend that here if you are familiar with your companions. Call your banker first as $30 per drink is average! But the girl I raised bought it so whatever? Wish I photographed that menu!! Service is bright with ample and thoughtful olive and nuts assortments and water backs for all without asking. For a splurge I could not urge enough of you to try!!
