Good coffee in the Sablon area - but the rest is highly overrated. The waitresses are easily overwhelmed when it's crowded, trendy but not comfy, it's cool but overpriced, food and pastries look good but it just does not meets the expectations. The hot choc I sometimes get are often more cold than hot. Still a good place to grab a coffee and rest for a bit before continuing your day!

The service is exceptional, the cookies are divine, I recommend. I was with full hand they carried my order after me until I found a place. Maximum stars for maximum efficiency. Probably the best and most stylish place in town.

Great coffee, not too touristy, and nice views of Notre Dame of sablon church. Service was mostly very nice except unfortunately for the waitress who brought our coffee over.

The coffee here is very good--in general but especially for Brussels. They sell roasts as well as single origin. Beans are roasted on site, and the staff seems to know their way around an espresso machine. Chemex and pour-overs are available, making Cafe du Sablon a welcome sight away from home.

Nice sweets for your coffee

This place is great. The people are cool and they have good coffee too. Ciabatta sandwiches and did you see the coffee grinder.

ridiculously small latte, and the lady at the counter seems to hate her job and all the clients. Not the beat start of the day...

Elvis, the man, the myth, the legend, the king of rock-n-roll, IS ALIVE…read more.. My new favorite coffee shop in this part of Brussels. I love how they decorated the space here, clean, pure with a little hipster-touch. A little jewel in an otherwise boring neighbourhood. The Barista's really know what they do, and served me a very good Ice-Latte with a friendly smile. They have excellent espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, fresh orange juice and a selection of (healthy) snacks for breakfast and lunch. It can get busy at morning rush hour, but service is fast. It can be your new favourite place to get a fresh cup of joe in the morning or to get your lunchtime eating regime on the right track... this is definitely my new coffee shop to add a kick to my morning commute. Don't miss the orange infused Detox water next to the counter.

They have never heard about the concept "CLIENT"…read more I've been there many many times because it's very close to my job and it's always the same. Good products (a bit overpriced) and TERRIBLE SERVICE. Not only they are not nice, nor efficient. Imagine: a queue of several people waiting for ordering and paying, four waiters and just one of them serving the clients (preparing coffes, paying...everything!!!!). The rest, doing some stuff, talking among them, but NEVER caring about the queu or the needs of the clients. Always like that!!! In the café in Green in face of them they are super nice and efficient!!! Cross the street!!

Somewhat strange setup: you find a table, make note of your table number, line up for food at the counter, and they bring your order out. We visited on a Friday morning: it took 5 minutes in line to order and another 30 minutes for the food -- popular place. My wife & I each got the Vegan Rustic breakfast (€13), which comes with a nice dark bread, hummus, avocado, green tomato, and a choice of orange or apple juice, and a hot drink (we got doppio espresso). We also split a very nice vegan croissant (€2.50). The main food items were very simply but tasty and well-executed: the bread was hearty, the avocado was fresh, the hummus was well-made, and the tomatoes were fresh and juicy. Perhaps not the greatest deal given the portion you're getting, but we were content enough. Good spot for vegetarian and vegan breakfast.
