It's also where the locals go as the prices are much lower than in the village a couple of km's away. Just as an example we went to a cafe just before popping in here and, a coffee and croissant was about €4-5. Here it is €2 for the same thing ;-) They have a huge open kitchen in the back and, you can see the baker feverishly working on making bread. The bread was warm when we picked it up. They say they make artisan bread which means, made by hand and almost all the bakeries around say that. The quality of the bread is ok. It's no comparison to the quality of the barkers in Marseille. The bread was a bit more chewy and not as nice as the ones we had in Marseille. The pain au chocolat was the same as was the cheese stick. A bit too doughy and chewy for my liking. Some people love that stuff. Service is good and English is spoken here. All in all not a bad place to shop for cheap baked goods in Ste-Maxime. As we are staying within walking distance to this place it's great to have a decent baker close by ;-))

So we ended up spending 112 euros one two desserts, two juices and two waters. We begrudgingly added tip on top after as well because we were honestly put on the spot. Tip on top probably brought us to about a $150 USD meal. It was a joke.
