The service and cooking was excellent, far beyond what one could reasonably expect from a country restaurant. My coquillages farcis were first-class, a generous selection of palourds, oysters, amandes, moules and escargots perfectly cooked - crisp on top but still juicy and sitting in a garlic butter sauce. This was followed by an excellent lobster flambe with a side dish of vegetables. The accompanying bottle of Sauvignon blanc at 12EUR was very good value. My wife chose the 19EUR fixed price menu(bless her) with confit de canard as the main dish, which she throughly enjoyed. The service was friendly and efficient. We shall certainly return.
