My wife's first courses was scallops cooked to perfection in a leek sauce with puff pastries on the side, and mine was an incredible fresh salad with small tasty Mediterranean fish on the side. They loved it so much they asked the server if they could buy a whole baguette then she let us know the bakery name but it was closed so she brought out a free one for us to take home at the end of our meal! How kind of her! (We of course tipped her for her generosity). Fried hummus: Something totally new for all of us & not one of us disliked it (not even my toddler). Poached egg with spinach: Husband didn't like it so passed it on to me. I thought it was a bit salty but of course my son loved it. He killed all the spinach and basically drank all the pouched egg.. then asked for more! Asparagus ravioli: OH. MY. GOSH. This melts in your mouth. Their sauce is rich but not heavy, there's actual asparagus pieces inside the ravioli and it's heavenly! Asparagus with mozzarella: I'm not a fan of mozzarella but this was totally doable. Their cheese was fresh & the texture was almost like icecream. Melts in your mouth as well. Steak: Being asians, we prefer our meat cooked medium well/well done. 3 of us got the steak & asked for medium well but 2/3 were medium rare & the other medium.
