The server put the plate with the cake down and proceeded to pour bottled rum over it, telling me to tell him when to stop. Eeek. How do I know how much rum to soak into a cake like that? The servers are efficient and friendly, fortunately ours spoke a bit of English. We learned that they don't bring you a bill -- you have to go pay at the register in the back of the restaurant. Hopefully, next time we go we'll have a little more French language under our belt and will be able to order our lunch without assistance from the server.
