Not too many cars passed by as I read my book and sketched in my notebook. The bartender came out to pick up empty glasses and asked for another round. I wasn't planning to stay for a second round but since the weather was great I order another. When I pulled my wallet out to pay, he said that I could pay later. I found that very kind and not usual. I will definetly come back here again.

One of the lesser known but better bars in Brussels. It's mostly popular with those playing board…read moregames, bringing their own or using borrowing the ones from the bar. Apart from that, it provides an excellent selection of beers, good service and a nice crowd. It's a relief coming in here compared to some of the hipper bars in the neighbourhood. Oh, and during big tournaments, they show live football. For some reason, especially a German crowd gathers here to watch their national matches.

There's ample seating inside and outside, and a cool decor theme throughout. A note - there's a sign saying the bathroom is .50€ but I'll be damned if I pay that after putting down 11€ for a drink. If you are a paying customer, just go in.
