Someone in the audience came up and sang "hit the road jack" so well i'd buy it on iTunes. The house went crazy with applause. We all sang along to "La vie en rose". Call and response on scatting. Talent and fun all night long. Beers and wine were the same prices i've seen everywhere else (except along the Siene) for standard offerings (Affligem, recent vintage Bordeaux, big Rhones, etc). Not sure what other posters are talking about, i didn't see anything over 5 EUR for 12-14cl wines / 25cl beers. Actually that's pretty cheap for Paris. A great find i can't recommend enough!

Success on that score, but all too brief. Unfortunately, the venue was terrible. This place is obviously interested in collecting as many admissions fees as possible, and unconcerned about the safety of its patrons. The music area was jam packed, with standing room only, and people were literally pressed into one another to the point that it was not only impossible to move, but also difficult to breathe. . And the box office was still selling admissions! Apparently, there's no fire code here. It's super uncomfortable, but if you don't have a loved one to press your body up against, maybe this place is your cup of tea. My group left after about 15 minutes. Bottom line: great music, safety hazard, super uncomfortable and nerve-wracking. Do not recommend.

Since we were there for dinner we were seated in the front in the corner. Our waiter was super friendly and was patient with us while we ordered. I had the Lobster pasta and it was excellent! The pasta tasted like lobster bisque with a strong lobster flavor. There was bit sized chunks of lobster meat and a claw on top. The pasta was the perfect texture. My husband had the salmon and it tasted fresh and had a nice sauce. The rice was pretty good with the different textures of what I believe to be pomegranate seeds. There was rolls placed on the table but they were hard as a rock so we couldn't even try them. They also had some croutons sticks with olive tapenade which was okay but not our thing. The drinks had unique flavors but not that much alcohol. The live band was good and kept the patrons involved in their performance (I was handed the mic for a sec lol). The dj that came a little later was good as well but we didn't stay to late to see how much the vibe was going to change. Overall we had a great time and I am so glad we had a great experience unlike other Americans and were let in the establishment. I would recommend this place just dress nice slightly conservative and tell them your going to spend money and you should be good.
