This park is in the urban area, but bordering the Garonne (the river), so it is peaceful and…read morebeautiful. You can see the bridge "Pont Neuf", from the benches, among other things. I was sitting there, with a friend talking, and we saw ducks swimming by, in the river. It is simple, not very exciting, but relaxing. You can start a nice walking trip into the city center, from there, by walking on the Pont Neuf.

Plus, there is an excellent kids playground, with an engaging climbing structure for kids 6+, and a little structure with a slide for the younger ones. By mid-afternoon, Le Beau Manège opened, which is the most awesome carousel I have ever seen. It's easy to walk through if you want a longer stroll, and a great destination if you want to stay a while. Les Abbatoirs, the modern art museum, is right there, too.
