When i by coïncidence seen this one, i was in the mood foor good meat!
When i did see the prices, i started to expect exquisit, out if this world meat, and i am happy to pay for wonderfull piece of "knowhow". Certainly being in Lyon..
What i ordered : rumsteak, and a glass of wine.
The wine was "ok" a bit overpriced as i didnt know a glass was 2 sips, but fine..
First the service, sloooowwww
The dish,
Was rediculous, me, expecting the tender fine perfectly cooked top steak.
Got a rubbery, grey/blue ( i asked for bloody), cold inside, piece of 3th grade meat. That has been coocked to long as the maillard crust was 4mm!!
No blood, no fat to find, the steak was greyish blue. ( to old/ to cold/ no resting)
Served with a rediculous slice of tomato skin, i mean rediculous, it was 5mm wide 4cm long!
Thats all!! Mustard sauce tasted of everything except mustard, and just enough to dip yr knife point in.
I paid 34euros, for
1 minuscule glass of "ok" table wine
1 badly cooked steak
1 slice 5mmx4cm tomatoe
1 coffee
This is rediculous!
Will not go again
