We spent a truly beautiful afternoon here with friends. Having been recommended to try this place…read morefor lunch we ended up spending 4 hours here just enjoying the food, the location and views and the ambiance. We ate in the garden and the food was prepared there too by Alain, the co-owner. The menu was not large but was comprehensive and no one in our party of six had any trouble in finding something. In fact we all wanted to try several dishes so we ordered as many different dishes as possible and plates were passed freely around the table. The service by Giselle, Alains wife and co-owner was not intrusive but she always managed to be close to hand when we required something. There was no rush to make us vacate our table and we were only ever made to feel totally comfortable and welcome. I just wish that we were able to stay for a night and sample the full package but our schedule would not allow it. Would we go here again in a heartbeat! The road up to this little treasure is not for the faint hearted but is well worth the effort. If you are staying anywhere within striking distance of this hotel/restaurant please please please take the chance to find it and find out for yourself just how great this place is. I promise you will not be disappointed. The prices were approx Euros35 per person but we did not have a lot of alcohol.
