Love this bar! It just opened up recently, but it's a great addition to the neighhborgood and to…read morethe beer scene. There are 8 different beers on tap which rotate on a regular basis (Brooklyn brewery, chimay, triple k, chouffe....etc). Happy hour is from 4-8 and all the pints are only 4.50!!! Wow! Delcious beer at 4.50 a pint - yes please! After happy hour, prices are still not bad - about 6.50 a pint which is reasonable for paris and especially for good beer. As for food, fries are only 3.50, and I split a planche mixte (cheese and charcuterie) with a friend and was amazed by the amount of food there was! You definitely will not leave hungry after ordering a planche. We were both big eaters and couldn't even finish the planche. The bartenders/owners are super friendly, and that's very important to me. Customer service really does exist in France at this bar! The bar itself is clean and the doors and pillars and such are all giant chalkboards. I was there early and a customer had brought their kids, who had fun drawing all over. Kinda weird seeing kids in a bar but hey i guess the bar is kid friendly? Lol. The only thing that I would change about this bar is the seating. It's kind of set up more like a retaurant than a bar. What I mean is that it would be hard to seat a large group. Most tables fit 4-6 people max, so if you're coming in a large group, it might be hard, but I guess not impossible. Bottom line is, I will definitely be back for some 4.50 pints of QUALITY beer! And that planche! Yum! (Btw I believe they also have a pretty extensive food menu from what I recall...) Btw, the coolest part about this bar is that the owners really try to innovate and reach out to craft beer fans. They quite often (almost weekly) will hold tap takeover events from different breweries and you can sip delicious craft beer, and even meet the Brewers or win prizes and such. The events are always really fun, with a cool atmosphere, and I will definitely be back again.

Great beers on tap and a huge selection of international beers by the bottle. This place has nice…read moreindoor and outdoor seating and a good casual Brooklyn vibe. The IPA was fruity, strong, and delicious!

Okay, I would hardly call myself an expert on hipster bars, but this place certainly comes close to…read morethe title, at least in my opinion. Then again it is located in what appears to be Paris' hipster community, or at least the bohemian districts of the early 21st century. There probably isn't a huge about to say about this bar other than it is small, cosy, and has some pretty cool decorations on the wall. There wasn't a huge selection of beer on tap, but what they did have available was certainly satisfying. The bartender was also pretty cool. In a way it is one of those nice and quiet hole in the wall bars, hidden in the Parisian back streets, and is a nice place to simply spend some time, and it is pretty quiet as well (though that may have something to do with when I was there).

If you're in Paris on a Wednesday night, and you love craft beer, COME HERE!…read more Wednesday evenings (I think from 6 - 8 PM, but you'd want to double check) are "Hoppy Hour," when for 20 euro you get 4 oz (12.5 cL) pours of all 8 craft beers they have on tap, as well as a 4 oz pour of another craft beer from a bottle. They give you the beers with a paper menu with spaces to take notes, which is really cool. Most of the beers were local French beers, though there was one from Dieu du Ciel!, a Montreal brewery that happens to be one of my favorites. (I believe there was some Quebecois cultural festival going on, which might explain why they had Canadian beers.) Our favorites were: - Ribouldingue: a light, refreshing, pleasant and easy drinking wheat ale. - Inauguration IPAIPA: not a typo; it's a double IPA. Very full bodied and bitter, but not too intense. - the Dieu Du Ciel! beer (Aphrodisiac) We arrived on the earlier side and were able to get a table; it's not a huge space, so it might get crowded. They're friendly to English speakers, too. Cheers!
