The service was exceptional with the staff working efficiently and in such a friendly manner to serve people quickly. The merveilleux weren't overly sweet which is amazing considering they were like mini meringues! They were beautiful with amazing flavour and I wish I had bought more to bring home, no matter how bashed they would have ended up. Exquisitive and a must visit if you are in the area of the Wazemmes Market.

I recently spent 9 weeks studying abroad in Lille at the Universite Catholique de Lille. This boulangerie was conveniently right by campus and I found myself frequenting here quite often! They offer a wonderful selection of pastries, breads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is made from scratch and freshly prepared each morning. The service is lovely and the workers are super efficient. Some of them do speak English, but not all of them do. The prices are more than fair and the portion sizes are great. I genuinely didn't have a single bad item here--and I feel like I tried it all! I will say their croissants are phenomenal, but I was impressed with cakes too. The sandwiches and faluches are great options for lunch as well. This was definitely the best boulangerie I tried in Lille, hands down! I would HIGHLY recommend stopping by here and getting a variety of items. You won't be disappointed! I already miss this place and will definitely return if I go back to Lille.

I came to the store 4 days a week, sometimes twice a day. It felt incredibly petty and dishonest that they would turn down my points under those circumstances.
