The service here is excellent and we even had the owner wait on us. She was one of the most friendly people we met on our entire trip. We had been out all day and were STARVING! One of our friends had done some Googling of restaurants and asking the Concierge on places for dinner and narrowed it down to Lolo. This restaurant is a bit of a hike from Lower Town, so we jumped in a cab and headed across the city. The four of us were greeted and seated at a nice table in the center of the restaurant. Our server/owner came right over and started chatting with us and told us about her restaurant. I was scanning the room and already scoping out dishes on the other tables. We split a few starters and after we devoured those like hungry hyenas it was time to make our main selections. I went with one of the simplest dishes on the entire menu. The kind of meal you would get if your grandma other was also a Michelin stared chef. Unbelievable! The servers are all . . . well, French. Super cool. Right out of a Hollywood movie set, and very kind and helpful. They have this kind of air of coolness that you can't pretend. The food? Oh my goodness. If you don't eat their risotto - an amazing take on the Italian tradition, than you're life will not be complete. It is the perfect melding of comfort food and high-end culinary art. Just perfect. Honestly, the La ch'tite Brigitte meal was one of the best I have had in all of France. And, I have eaten in a lot of restaurants in France.
