Ce jardin est d'une superficie de 3 hectares il a été crée en 1860 et a été aménagé sur les versants abrupts du Tescou. On y trouve des centaines d'espèces d'arbres différents : cèdres, tulipiers de Virginie, ginko-bilobas.

On y trouve en effet un espace jeux pour les enfants, une station de location de vélos, la possibilité de faire un tour de manège tous les jours à partir de 14h, et des ballades en petit train, ou, au choix, en poney. En somme, tout pour satisfaire les désirs des petits, tout en divertissant les plus grands. L'esthétique du jardin est rehaussée par les jeux d'eau et les statues qui jalonnent le parcours. Un peu de paradis.

I was sitting there, with a friend talking, and we saw ducks swimming by, in the river. It is simple, not very exciting, but relaxing. You can start a nice walking trip into the city center, from there, by walking on the Pont Neuf.

L'endroit reste en tous cas l'un des plus beaux parcs de la ville. Il doit son nom au château d'eau tout prêt, qui puisait son eau filtée à cet endroit... Avec une vue imprenable sur la Garonne et sur sa rive droite, la prairie des filtres est appréciée pour ses bancs publics. On peut également y faire du ski nautique sur la Garonne. Le parc est bordé d'un parking d'une capacité de 500 places.

The ceilings painting is one of the kind. Their painting was hide by a layer of paint. Later it was restored to original paint condition. The palace has a beautiful garden overlooking to the river. It is a French garden that have design. It also has statues that enhance the beauty. The building is just normal straight line and columns on the outside.
