We rented a Mercedes Marco Polo to do some 'Glamping' with 5 star hotels in between. Patrick, the owner of Le Manoir de La Jahotière, spoiled us with fine foods, wines and conversation. And when we finally decided to go for a night in our camper, he had the nerve to give us a night on the house! Which we promptly accepted! It was raining anyway, but who could resist this place once you get there? The gourmet meals are superb and the breakfast was not to be slept thru. But be sure to keep your alarm 'on' because this 'Relais De Silence' will have you catching up on all those lost 'Z's by the end of your first 24! I got 8+ every day - a record for me! We really look forward to coming back annually and watch the progress as Patrick has BIG plans ! I think it will be a world class resort before long if it isn't already! read more
