The atmosphere there is brilliant and puts the accent on the cultural life as well. Exhibitions, openings and concerts are organised on the premises and usually bring an eclectic bunch of people. On the more quiet nightsm it is good just to go there for a drink and a 'tartine', kind of bread slice, toasted and covered with the best ingredients. Additionally, the sun was setting outside, and the view was just gorgeous. I had a fixed menu that include lasagna, veal, and chocolate cake. Everything was well made and finely crafted. The chocolate cake with red berry sauce was out of this world! Highly recommend. It is fairly close to Lisieux if you are in the area. Prices are relatively reasonable compared to what you would pay for the same cuisine in America.

For 29 euro they offered a three course set menu with decent portions. I'd ordered a salad to start with, then fish with risotto and the infamous "tarte aux pommes " as dessert. Yummy!! Good value for money! The missing star is because of the noise level... We were sitting in the middle of large groups of people and almost had to shout to be able to hear each other... A bit tiring if the purpose of the dinner is not only to enjoy a good meal, but also to have some good conversation... The acoustic of the restaurant wasn't the best... Other than that, highly recommended!
