I tried the daily selection of the fish ( they change the option for the fish every day trough out the season ) and it had a delicious mixture of smashed pumpkin sauce under it. They have two different restaurants in different locations in La Rochelle. One is in the Les Minimes and the second one is in the center of the city. We had a nice chat with the owner and he told me that all the products that they provide are from local markets and brought to the restaurant daily. Which is a nice way to support the locals. I really recommend this restaurant because the prices and the quality of food deserves the price.

Every detail of the meal was specific to our preferences. The owner welcomed us with peanuts and generous pours of beer and wine with excellent recommendations on local wines. From the starter of fresh oysters and soup de courgettes a La mente to the entree duck salad, fresh ground hamburger to the dessert of fresh fruits and creams. Everything was so good and served with a friendly smile. You can tell this restaurant owner loves what he does; I've never felt so welcomed by a restaurant.
