With a few nights left in Italy before flying out of Milan, we chose to stay nearby so we could experience the Duomo di Milano one more time. The best surprise of all? Our incredible dinner at Le Meraviglie. The place is bustling and lively -- almost intimidating at first -- but rest assured, we felt right at home within minutes. The service was excellent. Our servers brought humor to the table and were quick to accommodate my request for hot peppers without hesitation. This has got to be one of the best/most authentic Italian spots in Milan. Service was a bit slow, but the experience was memorable in the sense that you could never quite forget about it, no matter how hard you try carbonara was probably the best I've ever tasted in my life, loved how it was made in a cheese wheel in front of us, and the space was just so chic. Le Meraviglie ambiance was lovely and upbeat. It did remind me of a San Fran-New York loft feel with a posh flare. One of the best service I've experienced. Welcoming and friendly. The food had a great taste I had perfect amounts of seasoning I did find a kinda major problem the meat I ordered was given to me warm, they did provide a heated stone to finish cooking the meat but the meat was cooked a perfect rear the service was fast although the server was on a rush (this time it isn't his fault) and the area was clean although the silverware had small stained places I would recommend but I don't think it has enough force to be a 5star read more
