I so have to disagree with that last review. I suppose it depends on what you're looking for. We had been in France for more than a week. Attempting to speak French, negotiate menus and in general have a good time without looking like; "The Ugly American" can be tough work. Sometimes you just need a burger! Hotel clerk recommended Le Maribeau and we went. There was an entire page insert in the French menu of just burgers....in English. We didn't even look at the rest of the menu. I ordered a medium rare burger which came with lettuce, tomato, Gruyere cheese and an incredible amount of warm goat cheese... On a real burger bun with
"French" French Fries. Wonderful. Too big to fit in your mouth but, I could see a local couple watching and I was in Ameican mode so in the hands..to the mouth it went. Wife had a smaller burger. Local beer was great. Logo was a Cicada, the noisy bug. I loved the glass and they gave me one. So, we ate outside! Under the awning that does not show in your photo, on an early Fall evening at ths cute little restaurant, had a wonderful time, a wonderful meal, a great prize and a great memory to take home.
