There were multiple tours going on in different languages at the same time but each group went to different sections. So your group might pass another group but you were not together. Our group was about 20 people. When you are facing the opera you go to the left and security about half way down the opera lets you in. Then you check in and wait in a rotunda area. After waiting for probably 15-20 our tour started. They take you to most of the areas and it's semi private. One of the highlights of our trip!

Wow what a beauty of a building!!…read more I cannot emphasize enough how much you should go visit this place Specifically you should book the mystery tour held at 5pm which boasts a behind the scenes look at the Paris Opera House and its beautiful Grand Foyer(note- you may recognize the famous steps from Emily in Paris ) It's a group tour - but it's after hours so it's definitely limited people and less tourists then during the day and I loved it- The guides were great , you get an ear piece to listen to in multiple languages I would love to come back and see an actual show someday

Only Three stars for this venue!…read more I do not usually associate sweat lodges, the ballet, and Paris together all at one time but Theater Chaillot is the place to go lose a few pounds while you passively experience ballet. We attended Swan Lake in early June and the theater was boiling hot! Sitting in my seat, I thought I would pass out- seriously. Not exaggerating. Left totally soaked and gross- took 30 minutes to cool down outside at the trocadero. So for me, even with the STUNNING view of the Eiffel tower, it was kind of miserable. However! I did lose 2 pounds over night.

Visit Date: March 20, 2015…read more When I found out Dance of the Vampires was playing in Paris I had to go! Our hotel concierge hooked us up with pretty cheap seats in the orchestra section. The staff of the theatre were very nice. Our seats were way off the side of Orchestra but the ushers had seating charts with them to tell if there were any empty seats in the theatre. There were some empty seats closer to the center of the orchestra in the same row we were in so the usher moved us to those seats before the show began. The bathrooms were easy to find and fairly clean and private. The theatre was very nice, the only problem I had was that my credit cards weren't working when I went to purchase souvenirs so I had to run down the street to the bank and get euros so I could pay for my souvenirs. The show was amazing and I would definitely see it if you'll be in Paris during the run of le bal des vampires.
