We sat outside, right on the town square, in view of the sea and the "marina dei ciclopi." We spent 99 euros for eight people (4 adults + 4 kids). My sister-in-law (fluent in Italian) asked our waiter if the calamari was fresh. He said of course and brought us up to the first floor where we could inspect all the seafood ourselves. Not much AC, super hot, who cares. I got a gigantic, ice cold beer to mitigate the heat, and it was a perfect pairing to the pizza. Super simple - sauce, cheese, prosciutto. They even cut it in half for us since we were splitting it. Somehow those three ingredients came together so perfectly that the pizza was almost creamy.
