I purchased the mini sandwich with chicken and it had tomatoes, olive oil, and lettuce and it was absolutely delicious on the freshest bread possible. The chicken had been roasted with French herbs and was absolutely delicious. This was a hearty sandwich to fill anybody up, and much bigger than the typical subway 6 incher. When I turned to the cashier to pay the ridiculously low price of two euros for the sandwich, I spied raspberry tartlets that cannot be passed up. Later in the day I enjoyed the tartlet and it may have been the best raspberry tart I have ever had. It was that good! For five euros, this was one of my better meals this week!

I got a chocolate chip cookie and a nectarine tartlet. OMG, both were delicious! The chocolate chip cookie had cut up chocolate so I was sure to get some in each bite. There was also something that added a crunch but I couldn't place it for sure -- maybe tiny almond bits. The tartlet had the flakiest crust and three full halves of nectarines. The worker didn't speak English well, so she was understanding of my French attempts. It was 11€ for the two pastries and a pineapple/guava fruit juice.

And I love a festival of fat probably more than the next man. Their croissants and bread are fine (the latter being slightly vinegary), maybe made slightly lazy by their status as the only bakery in Collias and guaranteed footfall from the location de Kayak. I would also suggest you try the Torte de Poireaux. A bit like a twisted fougasse made with herby leeks. Sounds odd but it's worth a punt, even in these days of Euro pound parity.
