When I first started visiting, they were located in small cozy building on Hopland. You had to have a bit of luck if you wanted to enjoy your coffee inside and even more luck to find space in the garden. But now, on the Mechelsesteenweg, there is a lot more space! And a variety of spaces. On the first floor you can sit close to the baristas or choose to sit in the back room filled with comfy chairs and couches. And on the second floor you have an open area with tables and can work on a project, enjoy the view, or chat with a friend. In addition to enjoying your cup of coffee, you can also buy beans roasted by Caffènation to enjoy at home. They offer espresso, filter, and decaf blends. For 32 euros you can buy a sampler of 6 to try out what they have to offer!

We're not coffee connoisseurs by any means, but a good cup of coffee is a good cup of coffee. Cuperus serves a good cup of coffee (& chai!). We ended up here on our last day in Antwerp, as it was literally around the corner from the Airbnb we were staying in (also included this info on the Airbnb review!). There was 1 guy working, who was h.a.n.d.l.i.n.g-i.t. We bought several bags of coffee to bring home with us & have been enjoying Cuperus ever since!

And if you're a bagel cafe, how can you only serve one type of bagel? If I were rating Barnini just on its bagels, I would give 3 stars. But my rating includes the ambience, which for me adds an extra star. I came across Jam as one of my searches, they place did not disappoint. I ordered the Royal Bouncer which was a fried egg with that gooey yolk goodness dripping down. I had a coffee and enjoyed my early afternoon by people watching and seeing the tram go by every several minutes. The service was friendly and I can see locals and the hip come here for brunch since the dishes looks awesome for that 'gram.

We waited 20-30 minutes for a menu, and probably placed our order 1 hour into our meal. When our food finay came, they forgot my food. Luckily, they were able to get my Kheema skillet to me in about 5 minutes, and they were very apologetic. The food tasted great, so I would definitely visit again sometime.
