This is a classic hangout for expats, especially on sundays from Brunch. The decor is just like any other Pain Quotidien and the quality of the food is consistent with that the chain offers world-wide. Prices are pretty reasonable as per Geneva standards, too.
The brunch is pretty basic, you have a choice of breads, oatmeals, wheat products, a juice and coffee or tea. You can also add an egg of choice (scrambled or soft-boiled).
There is something I haven't really seen before, and that is chasing after the jams. Should your table not have your jam of choice, you are welcomed to hunt it down amongst other patrons and take back to your table. It's a nice concept, unless that table also enjoys the fig spread or the orange marmalade, then it's just inconvenient.
Something I found alarming and all-too-horrifying was that their "scrambled eggs" are made in the microwave. They stick them in a glass and voila. Clearly, I will never order those. Other than that, they are a pretty decent, solid choice should you want brunch, just a coffee, or artisanal breads to take home. read more
