We were looking for a place within the Bordeaux city center where we could taste wine. I assumed…read morethere would be tons of tasting rooms around town, but not so much. The tourism office pointed us to Cousin & Compagnie, which offered 5 tastes for 15 euros (compare THAT to what you pay in Napa!). Since it's a wine store, we were given a variety of labels from different areas. The store is the oldest independent wine seller in Bordeaux. We learned about each of the unique wines. Pricing was very reasonable, we met some German & Irish fellow travelers. A gem of a place and nice afternoon.
